I once ran a CthulhuTech one-shot where the PCs had to sabotage a facility. As soon as they planted the bomb, I put a (physical!) chronometer in the center of the table, set to count down 1 hour of real time before the bomb went off. The players loved it! 10/10, would use that gimmick again.
