There was a Jeopardy question about these pretty recently. Was proud (?maybe?) that I knew the answer šŸ˜‰

I’m so sorry. I know that loss well myself. They never live long enough and then they break your heart. Take care of yourself.

To be able to sleep this hard and ignore the world!

As a Michigan grad, guess I’m now glad he’s leaving. Hope we get a principled replacement.

Thank you for your efforts. Fight not over but I can only imagine his family’s relief right now.

I have one of those too!

In this horrifying scenario, we (the US) are El Salvador’s client. Send him home or we stop paying. Pretty sure their little dictator wants our money. Trump can absolutely bring him home.

People already retired or (supposedly) close to it would beg to differ.

Thank you for doing this!

I have elderly parents, 3x Trump voters (but not crazy MAGA), 3 sibs/sibs-in-law who refuse to speak w/them at all other than scathing letters, and I'm in the middle. I continue to make my views 100% clear, but stay in touch...but also cannot reconcile their vote. It's impossible & very painful.

I've read (elsewhere) that up to 5 MILL Americans marched yesterday, including me. Why must I search for the story on your site & why is it on pg 18 in print? That is beyond disappointing, it's dereliction of your duty. One sign I saw yesterday said 'WTF MEDIA? PAY ATTENTION'....seems apt.

Thx for this reminder from him. Also, if you missed it - apparently Pussy Riot was in NYC last week begging us to wake up and not let our country turn into Russia. Really sobering

My retirement is slipping away too and I never voted for him. We are all suffering.

Well, the dog killing is unforgivable, period. There was no good there if she could do that. But agree with the larger question/outrage about Republicans in general. I think a few are legit brainwashed, but most WILLINGLY sold their souls and are destroying our country. Also unforgivable.

Shortly after this loon joined the family, he literally kicked me in the eye while sleeping, scratching my cornea. Spent much of a Saturday at urgent care.

I admit I am really struggling w/this with my parents, but I continue to think we have to be crystal clear and direct w/them about the situation (but not mean), then somehow have the grace to forgive their mistake, so they can admit it to themselves & step into the fight, even just if baby steps.

Had to stop a bit ago to appreciate the moment- Was sorting laundry. One cat rolling around in pile of dirty socks. Dog on the bed ā€˜roaching’ like a lunatic, other cat chasing dogs wagging tail while trying not to get kicked. šŸ˜† Thank goodness for animals! šŸ•šŸ¶šŸ±

I love this! I reached out to Sen Duckworth recently asking her to do town halls in the red parts of our state - and bring what she hears back to her Rep colleagues.

I’ve said a few times that Dems were woefully unprepared for what’s happening, and that’s true. But it’s even more clear that most- at least most leaders- are UNWILLING to truly fight- and that’s worse.

Super frustrating to not get thru by phone to my Senators or Schumer this evening. Not all of us can make calls from 9 to 5! Used websites at least, but still frustrating and Schumer's decision is a disgrace - again leaving regular citizens to save the country without much help from Dem leaders.

So incredibly frustrating. I cannot fathom still having any belief that if we just compromise here…we can work together there... NO NO NO!!! That ship sailed and then sank a long time ago.
