What if someone thinks they have to harm other Americans to “save their country”? Everything is lawful if you believe the cause is good? Who makes the call of the “good cause”?

JD makes a good point. If you can destroy American democracy with some Russian money that pushes targeted social media propaganda, then it wasn’t very strong to begin with. JD knows Putin is winning.

The USA purchases $1286 per American citizen. Canada, on the other hand, buys $8247 of American goods per Canadian resident. On a per capita basis, the USA is not purchasing at the same level as Canada. Does that make Canada a bad trading partner? (US $356.5 B to Canada $436.6B)

Trump has likely promised his succession to at least 30 people. But since he is not planning to die, the current thought is that no one will ever replace him.

That happened last week. It will go from being a joke to the world taking more serious actions against the US to stop him.

That’s what imperialistic countries do. They take land and countries as they see fit. The US is Darth Vader of the empire.

Other than him and AOC, why aren’t the Dems organizing and protesting, launching legal battles, raising funds so they can fight this barrage of EOs that are changing America to a dictatorship?

The sad part is, American officials are not tracking these diseases and making it seem like they don’t exist, which will kill many Americans.

Trump’s not a general. The courts are there to prevent presidents from thinking they are dictators. Vance has an education, right?

Trump is serious, and Canada is treating it as a clear and present danger from the US. If there were Canadians willing to join the US, that has been turned into Canadian nationalism and a hard no. He could order Pet Hegseth to invade Canada, and what would stop him? Ditto for Greenland.

Dems have to step up to the game show and go for effect. In simple terms, state the problem and what they will do. They have to move to the center and create issues with their solutions to rally around. Examples: Take Back My America or No More Fear America …etc.

1) Aid creates and maintains allies for the US. 2) US farmers supply that food to USAID. That revenue stops. 3) It allows China to backfill and create alliances. 4) It stops epidemics before they come to the US. 5) The US stops being able to claim Christian and Western values.

If Trump’s going to be there, I think everyone in the stadium should take a knee during the National Anthem. Those at home could just boycott all the Super Bowl advertisers. Far more effective.

This isn’t true. Disinformation is disinformation. Elon built some amazing businesses without Daddy’s money, but now he’s Howard Hughes and has lost his mind in a power trip. He is a white supremest that has no respect for institutions or people.

No, they can’t get to voting machines. They would need administrative access to the systems. They got into federal government systems because they were given access. They didn’t hack the system. This is a failure of the security process around the data, not the system. Think open house at Fort Knox.

Canada should create incentives to do trade with other partners and level the playing field. The US is close and convenient, make trading with the EU, Asia, Japan, Korea, Australia, etc., just as cost-competitive.
