/r/patientgamers seems like the way to go, these days. :P

What a week, man. State of Play, Switch 2 launch, and Summer Game Fest all right next to each other. I wonder what we'll see from Sony.

Or, hopefully, they maintain the $79.99 price we've gotten used to for Switch 1 games.

Wow, that's super cute, love it!

I loved the package delivery part of Death Stranding. The story didn't really jive with me but the glorified mailman part was surprisingly fun! :D

I'm a bit surprised TLoU is still up, at that price. Expected it to sell out yesterday. Or at least to have the price increased.

No, but the dog pets you, so it works out.

I did too. I actually pre-ordered both the steelbook and regular 4k. I am a bit weird in that I don't like getting different cases/formats if I can help it, so would prefer the regular 4k. But we'll see if either price changes before it releases. :)
comment in response to post
It's weird that the steelbook is priced lower than the normal 4k edition lol.

If only PlayAsia would bring back the free shipping. :(

Nah, I'm not paying for PS+ lol. Nor am I all that interested in multiplayer in general. :)

I'm playing the DLC for Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, and then I'll jump in to Radiata Stories when I'm done. :)

Thank you kindly.

Have they said if ODSP will get an increase this year? I haven't seen anything about one, despite them saying they were going to index it to inflation.

Maybe it has something to do with DQ3 being already out physically on NSW and PS5, s oexpectations are already set? It's probably not that easy, and I'm just thinking out loud here. But since the last game doesn't have a release on Switch 2, there's no expectation of a physical or something.

Well, I sent it to my PO Box, so not really much can be done in that regard. Not sure what other changes you might be talking about.

Pesky strike getting in the way, though. :P I'll be waiting a bit, it seems.
comment in response to post
It's funny that I'm seeing this right after ordering a Kirby game from you. :P

I do not like these DLC code cards in general, but such a short eligibility period is also pretty annoying. I've seen a lot of PS5 bundled codes be supported for *at least* 10 years. 🙄

Sorry to keep asking, I am wondering about any new Limited Run shipments coming any time soon? Should I be looking elsewhere in the future for LRG releases? Thank you.
comment in response to post
Shipping is pretty pricey at either store, though, so, oof.

Sad I missed it. :(

It is a blessed day for indie games on consoles! I'd been looking forward to Another Crab's Treasure since I heard of the physical, and Dredge Complete Edition stand-alone is very welcome. Totally Reliable is also at the very least interesting! Wishlist, engage!!

Heck yeah! Bring on the indies!!!

That... didn't last long.

I'm trying the Blades of Fire demo, and playing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc on the side. :)

Gross, I hate it. Take me back to 4 years ago, when we were complaining about $90 games.
comment in response to post
I wonder if complete edition will get a physical release. 🤔
comment in response to post
I cancelled my pre-order as soon as I found out the disc was a coaster. Was excited, but I'm not really interested in it if there's no proper physical. Why even bother spending money on the disc at that point (from Microsoft's POV, I mean)?

I think the new spine art is great. The sea of red lends to shelf uniformity, but when you're looking for something specific, it can be challenging to find quickly.
comment in response to post
I'm very confused. If the base version didn't sell well, wh do they think a deluxe edition will?? The publishers, I mean. 🥴
comment in response to post
Disappointing. :( But, I suppose, with Microsoft's track record on physical media, it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Any chance you'll be able to get some more copies of RE6 for PS4? Seems you're out. :)
comment in response to post
The 4K is the same price as the blu-ray? What?? 🥴

The rumor, as far as I know, comes from this YouTube video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1wC...
comment in response to post
That's not *entirely* true, it seems. I just checked and there was at least one showing "low availability" on their stock tracker.
comment in response to post
Bummer to the sale for Winds of Anthos only being for Switch. I don't think I've *ever* seen it go on sale for PS5. :(
comment in response to post
I'm sure the wallets will be crying when they announce it's only available physically in a $130 deluxe edition. I am interested in the game, but really, pricing is going to dictate how I react to the release.

Just beat Clair Obscur last night, so now I'm getting back in to my playthrough of Wild Arms 3.

*checks watch* Seems like it's game time to me. 🤷

Ouch on that Series X price. I think less people are going to find a reason to buy them now.
comment in response to post
Ender Magnolia and Tokyo Xanadu eX+ are the main ones. Sure it's "only" two games, but what's the point in having them if I can't play them, y'know?
comment in response to post
I wouldn't mind trading in my Switch 1 for a Switch 2, but there are games I won that Switch 2 won't run, or has trouble at start-up, according to the compatibility list. Bummer.
comment in response to post
That intro was top-tier heartbreaking. Up there with The Last of Us Part 1's intro.

Glad they're bringing it to home video. Lately the streaming services have been trying to keep an iron grip on their most popular shows and movies.

What I'm curious about, is do the remasters use the thing where you can screw yourself late game if you grind too much? I haven't seen anyone mention that at all. I know it takes time to play, but it's been out for a little bit.
