Absolutely, if not even worse because even in the most fucked up Stockholm’s syndrome you still acknowledge who's constantly slapping your face. But for this reason saying that it's an oligarchy (i.e. it's just stealing power with no popular legitimacy) seems to be a bit of a bypass of the real sin.

I assume you are already well-aware of just how much he was an absolute piece of shit and crank. Especially the way he tried to rob poor people of their priorities in pancreas transplant queues.

Tbh you could also make a more technical objection. Because it's true that it's like only just a bunch of people that decides everything.. and that pretty much nobody wants that evil.. *BUT* somehow 50+ millions of people are getting fucked and they are still completely enamoured with their abuser.

"Not liking" isn't "abandoning" (you can reform it, y'know?) and I didn't want to know a thing, I just stated that his story was dumb. Both because it costed him (and thousands of people) everything but also because it was always BS to begin with. There's next to zero that the EU prevents you to do.
comment in response to post
It isn't (and even if if you were just talking about the commission, while Ursula is bad - Borrell was famously very combative against bibi). But I'm not even sure what this has to do with anything, considering that you already pointed out how voters in a democracy can be dumb and thus elect morons.

After far too much search that I'd have liked, the official competitors should be: * Femboy Hooters * Tomboy Outback Steakhouse * Goth IHOP * MILF Denny's * DILF Buffalo Wild Wings * Egirl Applebee's * Monstergirl McDonald's * Demon Girl Domino's * Gyaru Waffle House * Five Guys - Cocks and Thighs

Not gonna lie "you are the government, you don't make the law" would have been as much of a burn as it could ever have been thrown.

The EU is a democratic institution, so fuck this shit. Also that win is what made the UKIP redundant, making it merge with the tories, which under the bullshit FPTP voting system that nobody ever wants to touch is arguably what allowed them to win at the 2017 elections.

Corbyn's story was so good it caused Brexit.

To be the most fair, the US *had* the antibodies to take down these crooks (on law books, no intervention from the public opinion even needed). Except the brain had already metastasized a cancer, in the form of the bullshit stacked common law supreme court that basically nullified every protection.

You'll mean different demographics (with different sizes and potential) to appeal perhaps? Because otherwise, I mean.. all things the same, caring for a lower number of groups then necessarily mean a lower number of voters.
comment in response to post
The question isn't how somebody can be a liar and a hypocrite, but how 99% of the fucking coverage let them get away with the obvious feigned excuses. Same for law & order party not even respecting rule of law Or family and religion somehow meaning cheating and disregard for basic humanity.

Not at all? I'd be cool with a left one too (that is without auth-lefts), I don't know who you think I am or what I am saying. I just had a pretty sour observation about the "loop" of your fish hook sometimes having quite the longer and different "reach" from the one in your illustration.

Why that shitte and not something like jellyfin, gerbera or even UMS?

Describing its alleged effects is not the same of "defining" it, and you never addressed even just a single instance of the principles I brought up. So not only it seems like you want to discuss L in the 21st century without any Popper or Rawls, it seems like you are stuck to Locke and Burke ideas.

Never claimed they wanted the same thing, but the ⬜️ on the ballot were just two (and I don't think it's a controversial claim to say that the reformers alone could never have done it). And.. uh, "pragmatically"? I think we are closer to the ethnostate than Corbyn's utopia with blackjack and hookers.

I'M ASKING YOU TO DEFINE THE THING YOU ARE CRITICIZING. My own is pretty clearly openly available even just on wikipedia, yours.. Idk what you are even about. It has all the smell of you thinking US of A reconstruction era "economic liberalism" is "liberalism" today, but without any acknowledgement.
comment in response to post
For the third time I'm telling you that "political liberalism" hints at a very restricted subset, that is just so damn basic. And for the fifth time I'm asking you to explain what fucking part of rule of law, civil freedom and equality before the law is compatible with nazis, let alone lead to them.
comment in response to post
That's not exactly what happened with brexit.
comment in response to post
I don't know where I implied otherwise and I don't know what kind of dogma you think I think (let alone after having just hinted at the notions of political egalitarianism and an open society). And in fact it must be like the third or fourth time I ask you to explain yourself to no avail but taunts.

I didn't give a description? And I'm not even pretending to have a "golden" one. But unless you are thinking of century-old "classical liberalism" (today used as a mask by right "libertarians", which in turn is just euphemism for ancaps) I legitimately cannot fathom what you are even talking about.
comment in response to post
Liberalism.. has a definition? Which is even more specifically counter to what you said, if we take the constitutional variety that was mentioned above. What you seem to be about is the way people 100 years ago used to do things, or the way (always blatant) grifters like Berlusconi larped them now.
comment in response to post
Putting aside that "political" did a lot of heavy lifting, even in the most loose sense nothing of that is a consequence or an implication of it? In fact they seem a lot like to directly run counter to the supposed principles of freedom, pluralism and pretty much even just a functioning democracy.

Literally Luigi's backstory.
comment in response to post
I'm really not aware of any even half-way imperfection to "political liberalism"? Unless we mean the (just apparent) paradoxes like the one of tolerance and freedom.

It has been years since I put care into its page, but did you check it on PCGW? I remember there was a lot of patches and fixes a decade ago.

Not at all really? I wasn't being hyperbolic. The words might be the same, but it would be a category mistake to take them at face value. He for one didn't apply that the slightest (quoting a guy that literally got grift tips from *Wakefield*) and it's the same trolling used for voting fraud claims.
comment in response to post
I'm afraid you forgot to turn on your crank-to-human translator: for these people every accusation is an admission. When you cite *blog posts* with the worst design by known scammers funded by an antivax group as the kind of research to rely on, it means for you "fraud" is just others' disagreement.

I really really don't think that the guy that fires people for telling him that he cannot just make up the path of a hurricane with a sharpie, needs to appeal to the perils of p-hacking or the issues with peer-review to do stuff. Not that those would even be good excuses considering what's the plan.

This reminds me of the Beastie Boys in Star Trek The Pet Shop Boys in the trailer of Intergalactic The commander of the Ares III mission in The Martian, dooming Watney to months of disco from the 70s And surely Haddaway in that mission in space in Saint's Row IV has to count for something.

Daily reminder that psycho"analysis" is not a science and it's a fraud based on lies, dogma and a cult-like mentality. And yes there's nothing inherently wrong with liking time by oneself, but the comics clearly is about somebody whose brain crashes at the prospect of sociality for whatever reason.

100% the narrative in most places is dominated by people that thinks (or rather wants to be true) that cheats can be kept in check *only* server-side and whose last multiplayer game seems to have been cod 2. Bonus points if you shit on Riot because winnie pooh, because it has the most effective one.

That paragraph is golden and should be framed somewhere (all the others, with AI shoehorned everywhere and considered "more nihilistic than crypto" are just crazy tho). But I don't really think most 4channers have actually played DnD, and videogames are far from offering you the flexibility of a DM.

Even the rising sun can fuel right-wing growth when Murdoch can publish in your country. And even more in the UK, it seems clear that growth happened only it was squandered with 14 years of tories rule, including the most stupid geopolitical decision in human history (though corbyn also had a role).

You can keep your growth and dystopism thank you, we are already doing great without.

I am not sure how whatever the heads of ministers in france are doing is connected with what guys mainly around the area of the bay say. And I'll be damned if I have ever found a guy complaining foremost about the environmental impact that actually understood how much one inference consumes.

Eheh, this is where it gets funny. It's wildly different to be: * anti-(US)-imperialism * anti-US [imperialism] One is actual anti-authoritarian leftism, the other is just a spoiled brat's hateboner.
comment in response to post
Yes, but also just normal accelerationism. Which is kinda the natural consequence of taking at face value 100% of everything in the sacred scriptures (i.e. Marx and Lenin) and believing dialectics and fucking historicism are real metaphysical laws of the universe.

Yesn't. The proud boys and the other militias if any. But honestly often your very own police too? Like seriously there are banana countries where they have more accountability.
comment in response to post
And you might even remember a failed putsch in Munich in 1923. That's why the next time they went at it they subverted the state from within. First they fixed the police not to touch brownshirts, so these could beat up journalists and opposers, and then everything that was left was their own voice.

AFAICT that was with Helldivers 2. Now they just moved their nudging "model" from using the stick to a carrot.

I mean, they literally backtracked on this last week.

Not at all. The pornhub debacle only happened after bill fucking ackman called his buddy, the mastercard CEO (which then moved everyone else to follow through). And Visa (which is even a defendant in one of those BS lawsuits by NCOSE) isn't liberated but they don't have proudly discriminatory rules.

And that's kinda what people have been idolizing implicitly since months? To be the most fair he stopped to post about half a year ago IIRC (so we cannot know for sure) but it's far more likely he is a school shooter that for once miraculously found an actually guilty person rather than an antihero.
