BRAVO to Maine Governor Janet Mills for slapping petty tyrant trump in the face with her calmly defiant "see you in court." THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE. 🔥🔥🔥

idk how to flirt but I can make things awkward if you’re into that

at 18:20 he just starts spitting fire and doesn't stop: it's the best Dem messaging we've had *all year long*

If we, as a nation, can’t afford Social Security and Medicare, we can’t afford space travel.

One of our supporters shared this with us—people are getting creative tonight!

The Usher halftime show came and went... Rih announced a pregnancy during hers and it lasted one business day... We on Day 5 of heated discussion abt Kendrick's halftime show. 5. Whole. Days. And. Counting. ...but I'm supposed to believe it was trash.

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out. Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation. Say equity, which a just society should pursue. Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

Now more than ever.

As the forces of hatred are on the march, my promise is this: Our trans neighbors will continue to be safe, protected, and welcome in Minnesota.

Seen some Christians saying, "Government isn't charity. Churches should take care of the poor, not the government." OK, with their tax cuts (if they are rich enough), are they going to increase their charitable giving? If not, they invite God's discipline. Amos 6:1-7; I Timothy 6:17-19; James 5:1-6.

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

“Record labels need to treat their artists as valuable employees with a livable wage and health insurance and protection. Labels, we got you — but do you got us?” — Chappell Roan demanding labels to do better during her #GRAMMYs acceptance speech.

So beyond thrilled by Chappell's Grammy win (and also her representing strongly the MO 417 area!) My little tribute to her from last year of D&D Classes if they were Chappell Roan songs for y'all! www.canva.com/design/DAGQq...

(Re)watched Cells At Work as season 2 just came out. Also picked up most of Paper Girls and some Dungeon Meshi today for comics breaks while reading The Cross and the Lynching Tree

Good morning to all the people who says no worries a lot for a person who actually worries a lot, and to them only.

They are playing Jars of Clay (Flood) in this Manhattan manga & used bookstore. I might have slipped through a dimensional portal

Coming back from the Board of Ordained Ministry meeting as the only one the deacon & not elder track. The words resonated a lot more after the past two weeks why a call to be a UMC deacon and not elder: The call to Word, Service, Justice, & Compassion as my gut reaction to the past two weeks

My Lyft driver was talking about how people lie and how he used to lie when younger (started about how my profile photo matched my face but "girls'" don't) which got rather awkward for him when he realized he was dropping me off at the New York Annual Conference office 🤣

Headed up to my first Board of Ordained Ministry meeting for the NYAC! It'll be good to be with fellow future ministers in discernment this morning instead of in a scroll loop

Watched Jay Shetty's interview of Michelle Obama. He said he'd read an article years ago that said due to modern tech (phones, etc) we now absorb the amount of tragedy in one 24 hour period than we would in an entire lifetime 25 years ago. Wow did that make a lot of things make more sense to me
