Our vice president is mad that laws and the constitution exist. Rather than use their considerable political capital to push for a legislative solution to the problem he’s trying to identify, he wants us to just accept that they can violate the law. That must never be acceptable in America

@schumer.senate.gov you’re not “conflicting” with them on everything if your starting position is giving them everything they want. Conflict will require discomfort. Even the discomfort of a shutdown. If you shy from that discomfort they will destroy you every time
