I went to the U.S. Social Forum in 2009 in Detroit, MI
45,000 people in the street.
It did not make the evening news
It did not get covered in the local paper.
There were no national reporters or cable news organizations there
You do not understand the problem.

"Why do you deserve to eat if I don't get a dividend"

Pretty sure that's Republicans doing all that. While liberals play along.

Republicans are traitors. Traitors to democracy, Traitors to the constitution, Traitors to America. Chicken shit has nothing to do with it. They are traitors.

I talk to my children about the "before time" before Fox news and A.M. radio. Growing up in a family where everyone was represented by a union. But we still elected Reagan didn't we? I was overseas most of the 90's. The shift right ward was shocking and disorienting not living in it.

A life of service. Compared to what? Biligerent clowns and dilinquents too stupid to comprehend how stupid they are and the sociopaths that lead them around by the nose.
America is diseased. Addled junkies piss blind on the swill of privilege.

Medicare already exists. All they had to do was give it to everyone.
Tax codes exist. All they had to do was enforce them.
Laws against fraud exist. All they had to do was enforce them.
Laws about classified material exist. All they had to do was enforce them.
Laws about treason are well defined

Everything about this is stomach turning to me. As an American. As a veteran. And as a white guy. It's disgusting.
Whats worse is that I know there will be real world consequences and none of the blame will go where it belongs.
Republicans are traitors. To the United States. To the constitution.

The thing about Machieville is that he was talking to feudal Lords during Europe's dark age.

Refusal to a continued fealty to those who show us none. To give respect to those who give us none. And that the press is just another failed institution in a long line of failed institutions going back decades. Sabotaged by the same frauds who still get away with it right under our noses.

It won't end when Trump is gone either.
He is a symptom. Not the disease.
The cure isn't one magic minority or alphabet person.
The only cure. The only way America was ever going to stop this generational fall into the abyss was with 100 million people in the streets. General strikes.

They all went along. Just like they did for 4 years while a treasonous seditious scumbag flaunted the United States judiciary and turned our legal system into his bitch.
So I know there have been a lot of sleepless nights for a lot of people here. But remember. This didn't start on 1/20/2025.

And, We, The American people are so addled, deluded, frail, and mentally challenged that we still can not fathom the betrayal. Not of just all the usual suspects on the right. They've always lived in lala cloud coockoo new reichland. But by those whom we should trust, center, moderate, or left

6 years ago on March 22 2019. The human equivalent of a fart in an elevator, Bill Barr, released a one page memo covering up a would be indictment of a sitting U.S. President for obstruction and "collusion" that a special counsel was forbidden from pursuing

Because everyday there is a ready made distraction. A ready made excuse to refuse all context of how we find ourselves here
comment in response to

Not "Donald Trump is distracting us" he IS the distraction.
It's still the same accounting fraud that's been used by Republicans for 50 years and still the same triangulating liberals in the democratic party selling us to them for the last 40.
And the press does not have to make a peep.

Yet to watch the news on any given day one would never know it happened at all. That any of it means anything. As rightfully angry as the American people are. We have no comprehension of what we are really angry at. We still think its Donald Trump. Donald Trump is the distraction.

So we might decide based on facts and principal what is in our interests.
The press did not fail of its own merit. From some inherent flaw of concept. Like everything else in the past 50 years of regression and reactionary lies it was poisoned and currupted by money. Deranged sychophancy to markets

While the institution thought so important that it was protected within the founding document of this nation has completely failed. Failed to do what those protections were designed to allow it to do. To speak truth to power. To inform the citizens in a democracy.

These people are too stupid to comprehend that The United States leads the world in oil Production. "Drill baby Drill" so oil companies can extract more to sell overseas. Driving up domestic prices.
Yet somehow everybody will continue to debate them in good faith with reasoned rational thought.
