It's only going to get warmer with climate change. Maybe that's why satsuma boy wants it.

I like him and he was really popular in the 🇬🇧 as well. And then he said we were 'back of the queue' for a trade deal and then we were a bit sad about that 🤷. Guess he wasn't a Brexit fan.

I hope one day we discover how exactly putin accomplished this all. I have a pretty good idea but we need the details so we can stop it from happening again.

It is obvious that the UK wants to be at the forefront of any effort to protect Ukraine. I just hope that no Brexit hangover type resentment muddies the waters here. We need a united front.

From where I'm standing, outside, it is looking increasingly likely I'm afraid.

Exactly. I'm in the uk 🇬🇧 and we love our health service. Childbirth - free. All treatment free. Medications - I got antibiotics today for about $11, but that is the price for all medications. A flat free of £9.90. If you need regular meds, like insulin, they're free.

Army, USAF, Navy. Socialist threats?

It's funny how Americans see healthcare, free at the point of delivery and paid for by taxes, as some kind of scary socialist thing. They don't think of, say, the military, police or fire service as things that should be provided by private businesses or the commies are taking over.

The only way is to mobilise. Get out on the streets in your millions, noisily but peacefully. Don't give them an excuse to get heavy with demonstrators, although that will likely happen.

We would have it in the uk but can't afford the bribes to FIFA.

Frustrating for the uk. We have really good stadiums and infrastructure for a large football competition like the World Cup and a hugely enthusiastic fan base, but money talks and the US will have hosted it twice since we last did. Even though we've practically begged. We've given up now I think.

Ha, for his workrate. I heard him described as 'running about the field as if chased by a swarm of imaginary bees'. 😊
I think he has to go. Lovable though he is 😆

Are we back? Is the United Kingdom even invited to the security meeting today?

Why is the United States enabling Russia and ham-stringing Ukraine? I don't expect an answer. Nobody in the world seems to know why.

Am I correct in thinking that the UK is not invited / has no representation at this meeting in Brussels today?

Just had a thought that could be paranoid nonsense. But the UN monitors elections to ensure they are free and fair. Trump is threatening to pull out of the UN.

Haha, they hammer it into them in Asia. You guys have to be the world's best spellers though. You have competitions etc. We don't have that in England.

Most people in the UK work hard and struggle to pay their bills. The gap between rich and poor has grown massively in the last 20 years. I can see that it is more difficult in the US to voice these sorts of concerns as you get shouted down for being a 'commie' or a socialist.
Free health care? 😡😡😆😆

That's fine, as long as you don't invade the UK 😆
