the only sensible extension of qualification time I've seen is NZ - it was 2 years when I got my citizenship, think its up to 5 years residence first now - and that was cos of widespread abuse by Brits using it as a backdoor to hop straight to Australia, which had tougher rules.

Worked at a bank where one of the top risk register items was “death from old age” of a retired programmer on call to maintain a system written in something used in the 80s.

this is the bit I don't understand! Yes, ingratiate yourself from being abused by Trump for 4 years, wonderful - but there is now actual, hard, empirical evidence as to the destruction it brings to revenues/user bases from the Twitter case study

Features in the 3 most frustrating things voters believe, that leads to terrible politics/discourse: 1) Uni's are sort of state funded like schools 2) junior doctors are all 22yr olds straight out of college 3) higher rate of income/IH tax apply to ALL your income when you move up income scale

Years ago went out for a stroll around sisters neighbourhood in Houston - no pavements/sidewalks, and every third car pulling up to ask if we were OK/broken down

Even as someone in a “non-creative role” - if you can’t be arsed writing me an email by getting copilot to do it, why should I be arsed to read it, let alone respond or act on it?

It's probably even higher than this, as if they had added (and I think this should be general practice, not a joke) Tristram Toryface into that list - he would poll at least higher than half the actual cabinet. People are guessing/projecting knowledge they don't have.

It's a comforting thought, and if it could happen before he even takes office, that would be especially lovely. Seriously, the moment the techbro's go near things like Veterans pensions it should all fall over pretty quickly.....

Best analysis of moving over for those of you that depend more/invested more in Twitter than the pontificating normies. Are you allowed to call people a c*** on here tho? Test it out on me if you like, I don't mind.

Excellent choice. Would add: Can down a pint of wine at the lecturn of first debate to establish Alpha rights. Flexible approach to, erm, fundraising. Should also consider long-mused idea of changing name to Allardicio.

Yes they are all JDM in the UK, but really popular import in their time - very neat campervans, and were generally alot cheaper than the usual VW T5 conversions that everybody here has. I think the engine is between the front seats somehow???

The research on cannibalizing revenue from package subscribers to gain some additional pay-per-x ones makes the media companies v nervous - eg Sky took decades to relent and introduce NOWTV to pay for the match you want, rather than wading through packages of dross to get football
