The hearing on AB104 has ended after almost 9 hours, and we’re so grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for trans youth. We remain committed to building a safer and more inclusive Wisconsin and to fighting for the rights of all LGBTQ+ Wisconsinites. (½)

But, like, I was assigned female at birth, and in high school gym class I accidentally spiked a ball super hard into a male classmate’s face and really fucked him up bad. He’s fine, but I did really hurt him at the time. Sports are dangerous. You’re gonna get hurt. Deal with it.

Some woman who just spoke in favor of the anti-trans bills brought up Imane Khelif. She said that Imani WAS born as a women, but based on testing she is now a man? Like, what?! So trans people DON’T exist, but a woman still somehow “became” a man?!?!?

Luckily, Governor Evers has said he will veto the bills if they pass, but seeing so many people still willing to show up and speak up for us warms my heart in these hard times.
