The declining birth rates among native-born populations, the increase in migration, and then this glaring exception in the 13thA allowing prison labor paint a terrifyingly clear picture. The Billionaires? They're still caught in that old mindset of enslavement. They're playing checkers, not chess.

"We're talking F500 household names...They're using incarcerated individuals for everything from food processing, manufacturing to packaging and even call centers. While it might be a small percentage of the overall workforce, it's highly profitable because they're paying inmates almost nothing."

"...for pennies on the dollar—saving billions. Back in 2004, they estimated this saved about $9B a year! And state-run businesses and correctional industries? They're making bank, too. Federal programs like UNICOR reported $404M in sales just in 2021. Then, you've got these private corporations."

"That little 'exception clause'? That's the loophole that allows prison labor to continue, and it's a huge problem."
"So, who's benefiting from prison labor?
State and local governments are raking it in. Incarcerated people are doing all the maintenance, cooking, laundry, and groundskeeping...."

Black Americans are still locked up at about five times the rate of White people...This brings me to the ugly truth of the Thirteenth Amendment. You know, the one that supposedly abolished slavery but then adds, "except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted."

"Look at how all this connects to the prison system...Mass incarceration has always hit minority communities hardest. While we've seen some declines in imprisonment rates for Black and White Americans lately, Hispanic representation in prisons has either plateaued or even slightly increased."

"....and provide a reliable prison pipeline for corporations. Hispanic/Latino communities have seen a massive 31% drop in fertility rates between 2006 and 2017. Why is this happening? Things like education, economic pressures, and assimilating into American culture are playing a big role."

"...a whole new group of people for the same system that built this country on enslavement. For Black women, the total fertility rate (TFR) fell from 2.416 children per woman in 1992 to a 1.639 in 2022. That's a 32% drop! We're now below the replacement level needed to keep our communities.."

⬆️Everywhere, people are speaking out. The GOP doesn't appear to be listening. Mike Johnson doesn’t, as he amuses himself by playing politics with the lives of children. Analysts say the bill will reduce income for the already poor, but Trump and his wealthy donors would see their incomes skyrocket.

This bill could make life even harder for these children as well as their families. Rural hospitals are becoming increasingly alarmed. Some of them say that if this bill passes, they may have to reduce/eliminate essential services. Or they may have to close their doors entirely.

Why does anyone in this country who has a full time job have to depend on government subsidies to make ends meet?
The Republican OBBBA give away to billionaires answers that question.

We need to talk about the children because they are among the people who will be hurt if this monstrous Republican bill goes forward.
...There are too many hungry children in this country to count...And it is a travesty. NO PERSON should be living in poverty in America.

It’s looking more and more like this is...one big and dangerous distraction from all the bad news that Trump is flooded w/ each day. His poll numbers are in the gutter, his tariffs are a disaster, his trade deals never happened, and yes, he’s very very, very mentally incompetent.

“So the Israelis invade, the Iranians counterattack, and now you have Israel, Iran in a regional conflict. The Turks probably have to get involved, the Saudi Arabians probably have to get involved. And then that is the sort of thing that could balloon into WWIII.."

Let us also remember that Tom Cotton along with 46 of his fellow Senate Republicans sent a letter to Iran that President Obama's Nuclear Oil Deal would not last, and would be revoked by a GOP administration.
Donald Trump did that in his first term because Republicans wanted a war with Iran.

Let us remember that President Obama got Russia, China, the UK, Germany and France to the table with Iran and got a treaty that Trump then tore up.

Donald Trump is literally the dumbest president ever,
History books will show what a complete and utter fool and grifter he is.

Donald Trump said Putin is willing to join talks on Iran's nuclear program and may help bring the negotiations to a close. An offer would coincide with a growing strategic alliance between Russia and Iran, both of which seek to counter Western power.

It's a rare day in America when Republican CEOs and confederates are prosecuted for their crimes. They deemed , "democracy as inconvenient" because laws and regulations prevent corruption.
Project 2025 is a continuation of the 1930 coup, but this time the POTUS is already a fascist dictator .

In 1930, F500 CEOs agree w/Hitler's stance against labor unions. They felt he was better for business than FDR's social programs. Their plot to get rid of FDR so they could install a fascist dictator fell apart. The assassin went to the authorities, and not one single conspirator was prosecuted.

The Neo Christian agenda gaslight it, but it's still part of the Constitution. Donald Trump's aides monitor social media sites that cater to extremists and he repeats their ideas as if they're his.

Sheriff Leaf told CNN:
"Some of their actions could have been lawful.. A lot of people are angry with the governor and they want her arrested. So are they trying to arrest or was it a kidnap attempt? Because you can still, in Michigan if it’s a felony, you can still make a felony arrest.”

There are also "Constitutional" Sheriffs who've stated they will not enforce laws they disagree with and Democrats should not call them if they're in danger.
One Sheriff defended the domestic terrorists that plotted to kidnap and torture Michigan Gov. Gretchen Witmer.

"Republicans are offering a tax cut to the most wealthy that is 850 times larger than what they are offering working people
Oh and by the way, any tax cuts for working people are going to be washed out by higher costs for basic necessities, like health care and food. It’s a fundamental injustice."

We proposed no tax cuts for anyone who makes $1B a year.
We made them vote on whether or not Musk and DOGE should have limitless access to Americans’ personal data. We made them vote on whether to protect IVF and require insurers to cover it. Every single amendment Democrats proposed was shot down.
