Move all the christo-fascists to some uninhabited island. They shouldn't complain because...see their god will provide for them (they are their big, white sky-daddy's favorite)and they can create a perfect utopia of rape marriages, and slavery.

Psychic shame has reached peak metaphysical resonance, so now even mere representations of our country's presidents appear ashamed. Don't believe me? Look at your money people! We're warping reality.

Why not hire a private security force, or paramilitary? If fucking Elon can, why can't the Judiciary? Shit, start one and start taking contracts from Judges.

Get a paramilitary or private security force to do it. Oh, the Judicary doesn't have an army, lol, let them buy one. Not allowed? Eat shit. How's that for free fucking market capitalism.

I honestly don't see it, but welcome an explanation. My point was, amoungst others, that long dead religious leaders words can be used to justify atrocity. Jesus & Mohammed can be used as a sword or a fig leaf. The POWER the beliefs have subsume logic or even moral reason.

Regardless of current climate? Haha, oh how I wish. Prince of egypt is Abrahamic. It doesn't promote a prophet who preached apocopypse, and is the dark moral underpinning of authrotarianism. Christ is a loser, and a plagerist, and whatever you need him to be to further your goal.

It's the 'greatest story ever told' vecause that was rhe only story in book form for hundreds of years. This is why there's mountains of scholarship on the Bible...not because it is true, bit because it was the only written text we had. People referenced the bible, because that was the only book.

Sorry Mark. Love ya, but will be skipping this. Religion was a shortcut for morality when we didn't have the time to understand the philosophy of reasoned morality. It is a fiction and a social club wherin benifits are shared amoungst ahderents. That's the evolutionary reason it's still here.

Totally agree. Why turn away perfectly good citizens? I mean, isn't each new citizen worth quite a bit in terms of projected taxes to be collected over a lifetime? Why are we making it hard for people who want to willingly pay taxes?

I just kept getting more and more proud. And, despite the marathon, in a testament to your vigor, not once when I tuned in did you not fail to grasp and hold my attention. This wasn't reading green eggs and ham, no, this was so full of logic, and love and passion every. single. moment.

Seems fake. Like when my brother bit my arm, then told my mom it was me. Or when Marinus van der Lubbe obviously arrived after the Reichstag was on fire, but was blamed because it was important to extend Hitler's control with fear of a communist takeover.

LUKE ŽIŽEKSKYWALKER: "Ah, you see, the problem with moisture farming is that it is, how do you say, an ideological construct? We think we are merely extracting moisture, but in reality, it is the moisture that is extracting us." UNCLE OWEN: "Just shut up and fix the damn droid."

Now that you mention it, I did start Dune a year or so ago. I liked it, but put it down after I saw the movie 😖. Maybe I should pick it up again. I miss the love affair I had with the fantasy series Dragonlance. I cried a many times reading it. I loved the characters.

I lost much of my free time 3 years ago, so I constantly listen to audiobooks now. The last Fiction book I read was World War Z 10 years ago. Before that, loads of Vonnegut Jr. Now, it's all non fiction philosophy & science. Any fiction books you'd reccomend that drew you in and wouldn't let go?

At the same time, undertakers at Montparnasse Cemetary in Paris France announce a free energy breakthrough. By rigging Simone de Beauvior's skeleton with an electromagnent, they's able to power all of France with the high-powered frictionless spinning of her corpse.
