I'm increasingly thinking that Trump II stands a good chance of being legally nullified, simply because it's the only way to put a bunch of genies back in the bottle re: civ-mil relations, basic functioning of institutions, etc. How do we get there? No fucking clue, we're a month in.

Calling a healthcare company denying coverage "murder" is running really, really fast down a road nobody wants to walk to its conclusion. The conclusion, BTW, is "So long as you can build a network of causal linkages between your act or inaction and someone's death you are a murderer".

A federal judge has blocked the Trump admin from terminating federal grants and contracts related to DEI. The ruling bars Trump from requiring federal contractors and grant recipients to certify that they don't engage in "equity-related" programs, a term the judge found too vague to be enforced.

Fwiw I had a conversation with a reporter on the hillsite before the election that Trumps pollster didn't think they needed Pennsylvania to win, which seemed absurd at the time but was actually accurate. Soo.. this is like 10-12 point swing. Probably some DNR tho.

This is what happens when you build a political movement on lies. Claiming that the VA is "in charge of payments for illegals" works on dumb people, but only when you're in opposition and can claim that the government is hiding the evidence. Once you're in charge and can't back it up, you're sunk.
