Absolutely! The NAG one isn’t a session though - it’s a collection of resources including webinar recordings etc covering range of topics useful to newbies.

Hallway. Foyer to me is only in a commercial building, I would never use it for a home (NE England). Porch to me has a lockable door to the hallway and is where you put shoes and coats before you step into the hall.

We also had to provide an extra coat, wellies and waterproof trousers to live at school so you might want to check if that’s a thing…

Also clean but stained is completely fine! Just keep sending them in it. No sense in wrecking more clothes.

Yeah we don’t expect any item of uniform to do more than one day… it’s a bonus if the pinafore dress escapes the spag Bol etc (but the free school meals are a joy!)

Remember they will probably go in PE kit one day a week but spare set needed to live in their school bag as well which you need to allow for in your “how often will I do the washing” calculations.
Oh and M&S tights are the best by miles but size up or they are too short!

Ours have a summer fayre where there is table of £1 school logo’d clothing. By the end of the session they were trying to give it away free…
Otherwise we have a mix of Asda and Tu (Sainsbury’s) depending on who had what available.

Yes, I have a lovely team of NAG exec volunteers too luckily.
The combination of imagination and experience is a great way to put it, thank you!
I did once have six of my speakers stuck on trains held just outside Leeds station… I could see the carriages from my venue but that really didn’t help!

My collections are focused on mining so I get a lot of “Dear Sir” emails….
Also managing mixed library and archive collection but never studied whether it makes a difference which material they were asking for!
