Notice how they make no mention of the fact that 83% of the Fed workers are not in DC. Where feds are, there are thousands of ancillary services/other jobs, etc. who serve them. From schools to cafes, from real estate to hospitals, this will ripple out to the entire economy.

The Senator will do himself a favor to recall what parts of VA carry the state economically (& him politically!) Here’s a hint: it’s areas where most of the federal workers (and all tangential services) are located. From Norfolk to Fairfax Cty. VA kinda likes food, medicine & jobs. #markwarner
