Add on DOJ's arguments in the Ozturk case: even if a person was seized by ICE for reasons that violate the First Amendment, i.e. for plainly protected speech, they'll be treated as outside habeas protection, and by the way, we can keep dodging federal court jurisdiction by moving the prisoner. 4/

But with a $50B endowment, Harvard qualified as a "billionaire" so makes sense to cater to corrupt administration

Why don't they just boycott even just for a day the legit press does not show up? I guess they're afraid they'll be shut out? But the press can publish lies all by themselves what do they need her to tell them for

Why do you need to "read" a portrait? It's painted all over his face.

Are you sure they'll blame MAGA? Many Republicans came out to say the Democrats should have nominated Shapiro instead of Harris.

Why can they not just replace $400 million in federal grants from their multi-billion-dollar endowments?

Yes and don't forget all the disabled folks that will be kicked off Medicaid because they're not working, there's a whole other pool of desperate people they can tap into! Oh and their children too don't forget that! 12 years old? Get your screwdriver ready.

No. #1 recipient of billionaire donations in 2020. When has he said the words he will guarantee universal Health Care, free childcare, free college, and all of the things that we know the United States can afford?"Trump bad" aint enough anymore even if it sounds really pretty like Obama

Yeah I already heard Bernie and AOC telling me we're not powerless. They tell us actually what we can accomplish by taking back power. Particularly taking back power from powerful donors. If you get my drift.

They don't understand that running a government is not the same as running a business. In a business, productivity is what puts money in the oligarch's pocket. Unfortunately it looks like Trump has changed government to also be putting money in the oligarchs pocket.

You can't deflect responsibility of the DNC onto individuals like David. Democrats have run the party for the donors and not for the people for decades and let the GOP do their worst since Reagan. That's how we got Donald.
comment in response to post
The problem is the Democrats are corrupt too. They govern for the donors, both parties do.

It's possible he is no longer alive and they are trying to figure out how to delay that from being disclosed publicly. Just the outrage of this whole thing.

I think they are going to try to play games with the "facilitate" and they have people working overtime in the background to force anothet adjudication on this. At what point will SCOTUS lose its patients with this game playing?

A congressional committee tried to do a McCarthyism on Shelia Bedi, and she made the right choice, to turn around and sue their asses to enjoin all the many constitutional violations. And they went and crawled into a corner www.yahoo.com/news/house-e...

Why not just cover the federal $ from their endowments? And tell Trump to take a hike?

Both Mr. Krebs and Mr. Taylor should immediately bring lawsuits in the federal district court in Washington, D.C. against the President, the Attorney General, and the Director of the FBI for vindictive/malicious prosecution,

Is that a way for SCOTUS to put a wrench in any other captives from also demanding due process? Are they saying the government generally acted in good faith except for this one instance?
