Maybe I'll give that a try when I have some particularly annoying supports. Most I do is just take a lighter to it quickly to get some stringing off.
Maybe a hair dryer would give a good sweet spot to help disengage annoying interface layers

There some some settings you can change with your tree supports as well to make them less likely to scar. I had a video saved on them somewhere I'll have to find and post.
There is also the dissolvable support material you could use as interface layers as well

When my BIL moves out of my house I'm either gonna swap my son into his room or just use his room as the hobby area so I can isolate the printers and anything else I get

Same. My printers are in a bonus room connected to my bedroom with no real way to vent any fumes

I completely agree. I also don't like paying for the complete assembly when the nozzle itself is so much cheaper

It's not too horrible of a process, took me like 10 mins the first time. But the risk of messing up the thermistor is just a bit much since you have to completely remove it to swap a new nozzle in

Yeah I heard it has the easy swap like the A1 and mini! I want to know bed size and price real bad.
I also hate swapping my hotend especially when it isn't just the full assembly

This is the latest teaser for the new printer

I was planning on getting the sunlu s4 dryer so I could do 4 rolls at once. They just came out with another new version but it's way too expensive. I got mine 2 years ago during Black Friday. Almost half my office has printers as well

That seems like a great problem to have. I have all my rolls under the cabinet my p1s is on, but some of them are less than 1/3rd and most of them outside of my AMS need drying at this point

Damn that is gorgeous! I really need to get some more filament.. I'm like 60 points away from having enough to get 3 gift cards on maker so maybe I'll splurge on some filament soon

I've been sticking to overture PLA for 99% of my prints. I have a amolen black/red silk that I like as well but it needs dried.
I haven't printed with a .02 yet but I did buy my wife one for her A1 mini.
What software are you using for your edits?

Very sick, those look great. What brand filament are you using for the prints?
And destiny has some great looking weapons to print so I'm sure that's gonna look dope

Oh sick! A buddy and I were looking at that exact model a few days ago. Did you print it all as white or grey? How were the supports?
