Primary and secondary teachers are paid very similar salaries. Top level, 10 years experience, teachers with 4 yr degree and 1 or 2 years of teacher’s college (length dependent on when you started teaching)make over $100,000 with good benefits and contributory pension (all pay into it - mandatory)

He’s full of it with his stat on immigrants getting 3500/month which is more than CPP and OAS. That was the 2016 amount as a one time payment for an immigrant family of 5 and includes a repayable loan. It was debunked long ago.

Pretty sure that most Canadians could record one or the other. It’s not like hearing the debate in real time vs a few hours/day later is going to make a huge difference in your yet-to-be-cast vote. Maybe for tv ratings?
