Luigi Mangione has a website now. "I am overwhelmed by - and grateful for - everyone who has written me to share their stories and express their support. Powerfully, this support has transcended political, racial, and even class divisions..."

Yesterday I made the switch from kindle to kobo 👋🏼 I’m so glad to done with the Amazon ecosystem #booksky

Hello friends of #booktok! Would anyone be interested in an LGBTQ high fantasy trilogy? I'm writing one, but I don't know if people would want to read it

Now's the time to stock up on your banned books! Remember: - physical media is best (because unless you own the PDF/Epub, Amazon can take it from you!) - Shop local, thrift stores, used bookstores, or independent sellers - Thriftbooks is not owned by Amazon and supports independent bookstores.

Just so we’re clear: 1. Audiobooks count 2. Reading is political 3. The orange man is a piece of 💩 Thanks for stopping by 💃

Reading Parable of the Talents now by Octavia E Butler. Found this passage relevant to our times. Actually this entire book is relevant to our dystopian reality. #booksky #booktok

Every damn day has turned into some fucked up black mirror episode

Many people doubted Fergus. “He’ll never fit in that box!” they said. But I never doubted him. 🏆

Most men in romance novels respect boundaries, wash their balls, make sure she comes first, care about their children, are emotionally intelligent, and loyal to their relationship. And then men make fun of women reading "fluff novels." Because apparently those are unreasonable things to yearn for?

How to? How to do when you see such a document, 113 years old, and we aren't still doing enough to act on climate change!

Night night sweet dreamies Congratulations for all the silent battles you've overcome. The trick to balancing life is not about having all things in perfect harmony at the same time, but to find harmony within the chaos

Someone, somewhere needs this. You matter.

Word of the day is ‘sequaciousness’ (16th century): the slavish and reckless following of another person in matters of thought or opinion.

Being respectful to everyone, regardless of whether they deserve it or not, hits different.

Nature is so beautiful

The answer really is fuck no.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election. Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control

Family includes everyone! ❤️

glad to be here!

Should I post pictures of street cats I find?

Here are some nice mushrooms

Every time there is a full moon, I like to listen to this song. youtu.be/0IOXovCH9eE?...

If anyone wants alternatives to Goodreads, I highly recommend walking out into the fields where the beehives sit in the hot sun, and telling the bees about what your reading, which characters you love, what book still haunts you all these years later. 📚 🐝

Cat in a Basket

Accidentally clicked on politics as an interest when I was setting up my account please help me 😭😭

My timeline on here has so, so, so much good art on it. It makes me happy.

I have this big cd book of all the movies I used to watch growing up. CDs were the vibe. There's something special in owning physical media I hope generation A can experience one day.

Writing's kinda challenging what with the despair and all...

I just learned that Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. An alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform (and yes it's really easy to transfer your lists from Goodreads to StoryGraph). You know, while we're moving things.
