I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

On Nw Year's Eve our beloved Wicket crossed the Rainbow Bridge and headed north to the snow. 13 years old. I adopted him from Malamute Rescue when he was 6. Run free and strong my best boy. Thank you for trusting me, loving me.

Meet Red Wolf Adeyha! Born in Wisconsin in 2014, Adeyha quickly moved to Illinois and then settled at the Museum of Life and Science in 2023. From there, the story reads like a fairytale: he fell in love, had kids, and then moved to a bigger "house" to support his growing family!
