Trump's working for the Russians...so why should federal workers who've been fired do likewise?

Leaving aside the dodgy politics of Musk and the poor build quality of Tesla's there's now a serious risk of them getting keyed while parked up

Tesla's been at a ridiculous valuation for some time, basically it's valued at same level as all the other automakers in the world combined.

It's not an "ancient treaty", it dates back to 1917.
The US bought the US Virgin Islands from Denmark in 1917, they renounced any claim on Greenland and also that the UK has first right of refusal if Denmark wants to sell Greenland in future

In principle countries are obligated to accept their own citizens deported from a third country, but we need to know more details here...such as did the US provide a manifest to Columbia before the flight?

"Fragging" has been occurring in militaries for ages. If an unpopular officer is shot by his own troops, it just gets recorded as due to enemy action and he gets a posthumous medal..

Greenland left the EU in 1985, there's now a majority in favour of rejoining. Iceland is holding a referendum on EU membership in 2027.
Easy to see both joining the EU in a few years (along with the UK hopefully)

There is something of a precedent, the US bought the US Virgin Islands from Denmark for $25m. But different times of course

Representation of the People Act 1985. This legislation allowed expatriates to register as "overseas voters," enabling them to vote in the parliamentary constituency where they were last registered in the UK.
in 2000 this was extended to 15 years after emigration

We've been citizens since 1948, prior to that in the days of the Empire we were subjects. In many ways that was better since there was freedom of movement across a quarter of the entire world

The "Online Safety Bill" massively increases regulation in the tech sector..it's beyond me why anyone would host data in the UK unless there was a mandatory requirement to do so, eg in defence sector. I know the Bill was a tory law, but Labour should repeal it

Did you know that many of the bar staff, waiters etc in Cuban resorts are doctors, engineers etc? They can make more in a day in a holiday resort than a month working as a doctor in a hospital.
Not surprisingly, those Cubans who contact tourists are happy
