Immigrants pay into our Social Security & Medicare. Immigrants support local businesses wherever they live. Immigrants work jobs no Americans want. Immigrants run taco trucks. Mmmmmmm! CBO estimates say immigrants boosted our economy by $8.9 TRILLION in 2023-2024 alone. Leave them the fuck alone.

Lots of these Nazi communities popping up on X now. Just found one called “The New Way” ("We as Aryans work together to advance our movement and the prosperity of our race"), and it took me five minutes to ID the creator, who does large-scale water treatment installations in NH. I’m sure it’s fine!

When the Patriot Act was passed, libraries got requests for patrons’ borrowing history. We were prohibited from disclosing those requests. We deleted and shredded those records and stopped tracking reading history for that reason. ALSO.
