Good girl. Honestly, well done. I’m using patches because I couldn’t stand the thought of having to inject myself.

Witch makes a living curing local’s ailments and other woes, while sometimes getting time to go off and explore interesting places with her girlfriend.

Simplest oracle and free is probably using a d6 1 = No and … 2 = No 3 = No but … 4 = Yes but …. 5 = Yes 6 = Yes and …

It’s fine. Uses a 100% roll and comes with other tables. I’ve done alright with it. There are a load of free oracles out there too.

At the start I kept trying to run already written adventures, and it wasn’t satisfying trying to be GM & player. The light bulb moment was when I wondered if I could play a murder mystery without knowing the plot, and solve it as a player by asking questions and the oracle deciding. It was a blast!

There are a lot of solo games out there, some very niche. But you can play with pretty much any ttrpg you already have. Create a character, or party of characters. Adjust encounter difficulties based on number of characters if needed.

6. Practice and have fun. You need to ask yes/no questions to set the scene and find out what is going on. Is there … here? Roll on oracle to find out. Is the orc angry? Roll on oracle to find out. Is the door locked? Roll on oracle to find out.

4. Get a bunch of random generators suitable for the game you picked. Random encounters, dungeon/location/NPC generators. They replace the GM too. 5. Remember you aren’t the GM, you don’t have to plan the adventure, just play & discover - this took me a bit of time to get my head round, fun when u do

1. Decide if you want to journal (write kt down) or not 2. Pick a game you want to play, PLAY as a player not GM. 3. Find an oracle - system of answering yes/no questions. Could be coin flip, roll dice or bought lnes like Mythic GMemulator. This replaces the GM by you asking it yes/no questions.

Since losing both my groups and taking up SoloRPGing scheduling is rarely an issue, still not a non-issue mind. 😁

The daft thing is, she is supposed to be going out for a chunk of the day, you’d think that would be an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the peace and quiet to roleplay or game. But if past experience tells us anything I’m more likely to see it as an opportunity to tidy up the house.

Likely to be a fair bet.
