I've only watched 3 episodes so far but I've worked EMS in a city for years and The Pitt is by far the most accurate medical drama I've seen to the experiences of city trauma centers. Incredibly good show.

Every Trump voter in my life knows that Trump wants to deport a huge number of immigrants. Every one of them supports it. The fact that they haven't game theoried out that that means Jose at the bakery might go alongside the criminals they've conjured to mind. That doesn't excuse them in the least.

Not believing he'll do what he says he'll do is not the same as not knowing what he stands for. Plenty of Trump supporters will argue he won't do this or that. If he does do this or that, they should not be allowed to hide behind that nonsense. I'm talking about historical culpability here.

You absolutely do not have to be fully informed to know who Trump is and the things he has proposed. It's preposterous to suggest that. Seeing three clips of the guy on Tik Tok is more than enough. He makes no secret of his priorities. He hides nothing.

I'm with you on the idea that there's something else to it, I think feckless Democrats deserve a lot of the blame for their failures. But also, a lot of those women are misogynists. A lot of those Latino men are racists. America voted for the fascist and will own the consequences.

Which is one of the reasons I'm not entirely comfortable with the program. Program proponents claim it's all volunteer, it's a status thing in the prison, people want to do it. I have to wonder to what extent external pressures are placed on prisoners to sign up.

I go back and forth about the prison firefighter issue for a variety of reasons, but it's worth noting most US firefighters get paid $0 an hour. NVFC has it at 65% volunteers. FEMA has it at 52%.

This is an area where many EMS departments fall behind their local police and fire departments, in my experience.
