There are far more who will follow him until they die. You’re just focusing on the small percentage of converts because it feels good.

I see stories like that on the internet, and I find them fascinating, but I don’t know any ex-Trumpers in real life.
comment in response to post
No they aren’t. They’re brainwashed. They’ll follow him till their feet fall off.

It has happened in the past. Minimum wage used to be way higher when you consider inflation. And the rich used to be taxed at 90%. Things used to be better in a lot of ways.

No, they won’t. They will never learn. It doesn’t matter if their skin starts to blister, they will never take their hands off the hot stove. They will insist the hot stove is good for them and blame their pain and melting flesh on immigrants and trans people.

IDF soldiers were competing to see how many peaceful protesters they could hit.

Trump was the most corrupt President in history. There’s a reason China fast-tracked those trademarks for his daughter’s business when he became President.

They’re more than happy to go along with his lies though. The simply do not care about truth.

How were they caught flat-footed? They knew about Project 2025 for years. They knew about Trump for longer than that.

I think treating others as you want to be treated is more important.
comment in response to post
That’s what it always was. Trump has always been an obvious racist.

Trump’s tax cuts made it so corporations got to keep more of their profits. This motivates them to make more profit by raising prices. Trump’s tax cut caused the inflation we’re experiencing now.

The Republicans have been evil for about a century now.

Capitalism is centered around capital, which is something that makes you money simply because you own it, not because you did any work. It’s a system that benefits lazy billionaires.

If he had done his job, Trump would be in prison.

I meant I’m not going to drink with them.

I’m not going to argue either. But I’m also not going to party with these people.
comment in response to post
Is that supposed to be an argument that they aren’t fascist? Because it isn’t.
comment in response to post
Many Palestinians have.

I do want the non-fascists to win. But if someone is only an ex-Trumper because he hurt them personally then they’re still fascist, they just want someone else as their Fuhrer.

Maybe it a G. O. A. T. The greatest constellation of all time.
comment in response to post
There’s a reason why we wouldn’t have done it, because we’re less likely to benefit from the strategy working and more likely to be hurt by fascists rising to power. But the Dems care more about winning than they do about helping us so they’re willing to take that risk.

What do you think the Democrats hope to get back from far-right candidates?

Did you know that the Democrats donated money to far right Republicans?
comment in response to post
So “voting harder” wouldn’t have helped.
comment in response to post
So we shouldn’t vote blue no matter who.

Why is it that every time someone tries to argue that the Democrats aren’t the problem they always blame Democrats like Manchin and Sinema?
comment in response to post
I agree completely. This isn’t your fault. He just doesn’t want to blame the Democrats.
comment in response to post
They were never actually “reasonable.” They just liked to present themselves that way.
comment in response to post
The Democrats refusing to expand the court, throw Trump in prison, or do anything to help working class people is what allowed Trump to win.

Blue MAGAs just love licking boots.
comment in response to post
My state went Blue. There was nothing I could have done to stop this. But the Democrats could have put Trump in prison if they did their jobs.
comment in response to post
If you really thought it was the biggest issue you would have done something about it when you were in power!
