I went through that too. And like you, I quit and got a much nicer job. And the old boss’s business folded. And he’s dead now. Cheers 💙

I did have a boss like that. Same boss who sent an email to all employees telling us to vote for Mitt Romney. I quit one month later. The whole company folded a year later. Ha. Dicks. This Monday I’ll be at the MN senate hearing for the Boundary Waters!

They could just make stuff up and he’d never bother to find out

Sepsis is how my great-grandmother died, the last time abortion was made illegal. Lack of safe abortion procedures leave kids without their mothers. My grandpa was one of them.

Sick and hypocritical that as college gets less funding and more barriers, the privileged talk down to youth for being lazy or dependent. “Grants”? Like GOVERNMENT grants?

I really think they’re doing it just to look gross. Like another “own the libs” thing. They want to be evil geniuses but lack the genius part

I want to understand more about bots and disinformation. I’ve just started reading Information Wars by Richard Stengel. Can you recommend other sources?

If that simp Pete Stauber gets his pissy little way in helping Trump and the billionaire Lucsik family build a mine that will pollute the Boundary Waters, I will haunt him until the end of his days.

One day historians will marvel that we had all we needed to support a happy, healthy and secure future for all, but filthy rich people just grabbed it all away and it didn’t even make them happy.

It seems like troll farms are pushing the narrative for “shithole cities” so that people will be okay with defunding the public transport we need, among other things. I see the same “shithole” comments about any blue city anywhere in the US.

Same with Minneapolis. Or should I say Murderapolis! Where I’m out walking or running alone almost every day, how am I still alive

Right! It’s always so strict and stringent. Can’t spend a penny without all the details in writing and so much scrutiny.

Even in blue states things will get worse. Minnesota’s oldest abortion clinic closed a few weeks ago due to financial strain, and the current regime will try to defund Planned Parenthood.

“In a series of X posts, the billionaire continued to suggest without proof that the gold reserves had disappeared.” And Trumpers heartily agree. X is in a total state of mass insanity over this.

And if we were smart, we’d see that all we need for true happiness is already right there in front of us in the form of some miserable mansplainer who thinks personal growth is women’s work

If we weren’t powerful, they wouldn’t be trying so hard to disinform us

Other options are Lt Gov Peggy Flanagan or Secretary of State Steve Simon, either of whom would be good. Rep Omar would consider running and would be great, but I don’t know what her chances are of getting statewide support.

Those who voted for him are crying “it’s only been less than a month” to which I calmly reply “ok, how long do you think it will take?”

When I competed for Minnesota Runner of the Year (an amateur road running competition) in 2019, there was a trans woman in my age group. It was great. Neither of us won. It was just nice to have some competition and make friends.

Haha me too. I’ll be running around trying to stay warm.
