I feel like The Bear has some aspect of this -- both how the show is done and the characters/storyline. There's something compelling (for me anyway) about people who are obsessed with giving a shit about their craft. I hope this is a new trend in everything.

We bought a 1200 sq ft house (built 40 years ago) and for 2 people and a few cats it's been the perfect size. Easy/fast to clean and cheap to heat/cool. It's a shame you can't buy a new-ish detached home in the 1200-1500 range these days.
