I use it to share my mechanical keyboard and wireless mouse between my desktop and my work laptop when WFH. Desktop is Linux, laptop is Windows. Still using Barrier, but will now take a look at this.

I thought January 6, 2021 was the lowest point in US history that I would live through, but February 28, 2025 is now a strong contender ☹️

the cult of maximum efficiency is one of the worst things to happen to society. I can’t defend studying Latin or reading for pleasure or spending an hour at the park with my niece in a way that will satisfy shareholders. but they’re worth doing because they’re beautiful and good.

It's not enough that the US occupies the center of global power in every sense. Not enough it can get whatever it wants anywhere in the world. They have to *show* their power. Have the dominated acknowledge submission. And if there is one thing that is corrosive to stable power it is humiliation.

Money doesn't buy happiness but it buys security. Not having the anxiety of losing everything if you lose your job or are hospitalized is far better than happiness. Someone who tells you money doesn't buy happiness doesn't appreciate the feeling of security.
