Ice always said rich people should pay into Social Security, but we have to remember that the rich write the laws.

With all the problems taking place in America, lawyers are the true winners:(

I would rather see people push for real American problems to be solved. This constant on President Trump is useless. The American economy, homelessness, poverty, care of veterans, is more important than trying to make President Trump change his views. Congress members still want to be elected!

Agree. Also, make the rich pay into Social Security as well.

I disagree about the firings DOGE is doing, but cutting waste wherever it's found is okay by me. Taxpayer money should be to pro.ote America and woke/dei n the United States and other countries. Let's take of our homeless people, veterans, public schools, and help create job training classes.

I didn't say journalists, I said media outlets that control what's printed and broadcast and make editorial decisions.

Sadly, all media sources do the same thing. That's why there is no longer a bias free media.

I'm going to guess never. Remember, the wealthy control the government, and they will never do anything to harm themselves regardless of get bulldozed over. I can't remember who said it, but being wealthy is not a problem, but you need to create all people fairly since they are also customers.

I'd support a new media source if it was truly neutral and just reported the facts!

Does your statement go just for President Trump or all politicians?
comment in response to

I agree. People have become lazy and fail to research the issues and think about the outcomes of decisions.

All media news reports are propaganda. And, people people st ill chose to watch and believe.
comment in response to

If the newspaper are truly meant to be neutral, is endorsing a candidate from either party really neutral? Many people just want the news facts to make up their own minds. If newspapers spin the stories, it's not news, but instead propaganda.

Please remember the United States is a great country, and as long as the people are involved, no ONE man can destroy it. People seem to be giving President Trump too much power. The US Government is kept in check with separation of powers and checks and balances.

I think readers want just the facts and not a biased view. Give the reader the facts and let us determine what to believe.

Since Jeff Bezos owns the Washintin Post, I guess he didn't like your imagine of him. Sadly, just sad since it's reporting the truth.

Sadly, the rioters were performing acts that could have hurt and killed the police officers. They reacted within policy and to protect themselves to go hine to their families. Are saving the rioters are not to blame for their actions? Burning building, throwing items at police, burning cars, etc.?
comment in response to
post
I was being sarcastic!!!! Of course, the riots were violent and should have been stopped, and criminals arrested. Sadly, the Democrats in power refused to use necessary force to stop the riots and arrest the criminals.
comment in response to
post
Yiu cannot blame everything on President Trump. Just like you cannot blame President Biden for the riots several years ago. You should blame the criminals since they made the decision to violate the law. Just because a President says something stupid doesn't mean I'm going out a violate the law.

They did. It's called prono.

The riots were not violent they were peaceful protests. My ass! Those people should have been arrested and thrown in jail. The harm they caused and property damaged was outrageous. But, many of the lawbreakers sued and won money from the government. When criminals are celebrated, there's a problem.

Sadly, most people don't follow the case as it proceeds through the court system. Too many people get their news and opinions from social media, friends, mass media that always makes the victim look like heroes. People need to read and follow the cases and EVIDENCE.

Have you forgotten that they were arrested, charged, tried by a jury of their peers, and found not guilty. Justice is not perfect, but it's the best we have right now and is better than most. Countries have.

Good point. I believe most people think Trump is all powerful. He is not. All those members in Congress still want to be reelected and will generally, hopefully, not throw their districts under the bus. Let's hope that Trump can be successful so that America can be better. It takes a team.

Because only the Demos can break the law & not be arrested and charged. I have never seen such haterered directed at a politician than President Trump has received. All this hate towards any candidate makes the problems impossible to solve. For the next 4 years let's hope Trump can be successful.

The people voted him into office because they see what happened to the United States. High crime, massive influx of illegal immigrants who get American taxes funding over needy Amerixan citizens, lies, more lies. Kamala Harris was more of the same. Hopefully, for America, things will get better.

Sadly, most people don't care about politics since the officials lie, cheat, steal, don't keep their promises, do what's best for themselves and their party. Sadly, government, at all levels, is failing. Sadly, the government is run by the rich and for the rich. Just my point of view.

Sad, you harm onto another person because you don't like their political views. Since President Trump will take over in January 2025, you should hope he is successful even though you don't support him. If he's successful, America will be successful. Praying something I'll will happen is wrong.

That money could be used to take of American veterans, homeless individuals, children, public schools, health care, childcare, job training, increase in pay for the military and police, and victim assistance, and lastly mental health.

Here's how many meals for homeless people could buy for $5.9 billion.
1. Low-cost meals ($2 per meal)
$5,900,000,000 ÷ $2 = 2.95 billion meals
2. Moderate-cost meals ($3 per meal)
$5,900,000,000 ÷ $3 = 1.97 billion meals
3. Higher-cost meals ($5 per meal)
$5,900,000,000 ÷ $5 = 1.18 billion meal

That's because your taxes pay for medical assistance. Basic Economics 101. Tax the citizens to pay for services and then say it's free.

You're right. But, you must look at all of the history, the good, bad, & ugly, to understand everything that happened. By understanding all aspects, better understandings, decisions, arguments can be made. There is no need to YELL at someone making a statement. Seems a bit unnecessary and rude.
