@minakimes.bsky.social @jacsonbevens.bsky.social @fieldgulls.bsky.social hear me out Trade down from 18 for something in the mid to high 20s and 3(?) Draft offensive linemen. A lot of them. And Jalen Milroe

“MaYbe shE’s goiNg to be in TroUble nOw” Maybe he can learn to read. The Constitution would be a good place to start

@minakimes.bsky.social is arguably the best analyst on cable tv. Her ability to break things down for all levels of fans is exceptional. She doesn’t needlessly tear guys down. Her takes are often pretty spot on. Super glad she’s on here

This x 1000. I find many of the policies immoral, unconscionable, harmful. But many are legal. It's the complete violation of the constitution & illegal power grab that we should be talking about right now, because many voters don't realize that it's democracy, not just policy, that's at stake.

Purging dissent in the security services and giving loyalists power is something we *instantly* recognize in other contexts.

That people now see the typical person Silicon Valley has produced through decades long juvenilizing and coddling of young men and the persistent sidelining of women is an important thing except it’s also too late. These toxic adult toddlers are grown and cloning more.

Trump and Musk's actions can overwhelm the reader. Important not to forget basic facts. If Musk illegally accessed federal employee records and tax and social security information and transferred them to a private device, he is vulnerable to prosecution and a multidecade sentence in federal prison.

Trump, Vance, Hegseth, and Combs all said they were briefed on the collision, so they all knew about this internal FAA report when they went on TV to blame minorities for the crash. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/01...

i just cannot get over how much the administration’s response to the crash shows a profound disrespect for the lives of the people they are supposed to serve

Excellent post

Democrats have one of two options. Try and play to the center (hasn’t worked a whole lot lately) Or push hard to the left. If that’s the way they go, this woman needs to be at the front

Helpful!

Say what you want about Henry Ford, but he didn't do this on TV

As someone who’s favorite team has played against his team twice every year let me say this If I had to choose a coach to start a franchise with, it’s McVay and it isn’t close

A) this is all the Seahawks fault. Couldn’t beat the giants at home. Couldn’t close out multiple games. Consistently one step away from being a good team B) this is just a BRUTAL way to essentially be eliminated from the playoffs. Especially after that game/drive.

He is flawed. In so many ways. He has made terrible decisions that will infuriate me probably forever. But you cannot tell me he is not a decent human being who cares about all 350 million of us. In different circumstances, he would have been a fantastic president.

@pattonoswalt.bsky.social started watching AP Bio and I’m very confident that Constable Bob and Ralph either would be best friends or they’re long lost twins

Don’t think it changes the actual outcome But this game looks very different with a healthy Geno in the second half

@minakimes.bsky.social if you’re the Seahawks (recognizing John would NEVER do option a) do you A) trade your first in 2025-2027and maybe more and go get Shadeur or Cam Ward OR B) sign Geno to a 3yr/$30-35aav and go all in on interior linemen in the draft

A third rounder. A fucking third round pick for this dork

I wrote one of my past professors to say how often I think of her & how she shaped me as a scholar & educator. she responded: “you know of course that mentoring works only when everyone involved is open to genuine learning & presence & engagement, & so recognize in yourself those qualities, right?”

This needs to be said, loud, and often.
