I think Lange should be already agreeing a move for Aït-Nouri. Imagine having a fast and strong dueller full-back and a highly technical creator full-back for each side.

It’s one game. They created 2+ xG. 9 out of 10 times this is a boring win for Bayern. They are far from terrible.

I think it is per player, because it’s an average.

This newsletter from @graceonfootball.com is excellent on Guehi, Mazraoui and the Rainbow Laces campaign

After hearing Nathan’s shortlist, I wanted to ask what do you think about some other names. Adi Hütter of Monaco seems a great candidate (take a look at this chart from @scottjwillis.bsky.social). And then I have two slightly crazier ideas: Bielsa or Benitez (an option just for this season).

I would, but the majority of fans probably wouldn’t. Levy certainly wouldn’t be understanding.

I agree, but he’s fighting to stay in his job and they are two first eleven quality players. I wouldn’t start a game with 4 teenagers either. Then again, he claims to care more about the long-term than the short-term, so there’s that. A difficult situation to judge.

Yup. Ange is being held to an unattainable standard. Why is Wilson writing a whole ass article about our manager’s politeness and not about Arteta’s domination fetish or his defense of a rapist? It’s crazy to me that he cares this much about Ange’s expression.

Maybe registration is the last thing you wanna worry about. Just asking how would you resolve this problem. Cheers

If we bring Spence and Kinsky into the Europa squad, which position do you think we should prioritise as the last addition/change? LB, CB or RW? Dorgu could be a hybrid for all of those positions lmao.

That leaves us with space for 1 club-trained player or 1 change. Maybe Spence comes in for Forster and we leave Kinsky out? Then we still have to decide which two of Odobert/Werner/Davies to leave out, because I can’t see us going for KWP and Jack Clarke…

The harm is we could lose key players. I don’t believe Romero, Porro, Kulusevski will stay beyond this season if the results don’t get better…

I actually think your LHS is where you can hurt us. Porro is probably knackered and you’d wanna press Dragusin heavily. Hope I’m wrong.

It’s more complex than that.

Yes and that’s why it would break my heart if Levy sacked Ange. Once the players start to get back from injuries, we’ll finally be able to see Windy’s proposed rotations. I really believe that.

Ange could’ve taken off Deki instead of Johnson, could’ve played Sarr as a false 9 and put Bergvall on for Solanke. Our press would have been much more effective this way. Then again, it’s not like we didn’t create enough to make it 3-1 and Wolves scored two worldies. We were very unlucky.

I like Dilane Bakwa of Strasbourg, any thoughts about him, Alex? Been thinking about him for Spurs, but he would suit Newcastle just as well.

are mostly disheartening to watch, but annoying too. Amorim went from humility to unjustified pride in a matter of weeks. The stuff he said about how it matters what you wear as a footballer, who says that? Can he fix such a toxic envirnoment with more toxicity? Don’t think so. [2/2]

It’s sad to see a once impressive football club going through such an identity crisis, becoming a place of constant drama and mediocre football. All the stupid transfers, the morally bankrupt decisions, the constant yearning for greatness but without putting any of the work required [1/2]
