So I'm doing the final check of the US layout of STONE AND SKY and I reach a bit talking about long summer days in Aberdeenshire. Curious - I looked up the latitude 57.15 degrees north. A lattitude it shares with Alaska and Northern Alberta. All I'm going to say - thank you gulf stream ☺️

For anyone that doesn't know us, we are Orkney Library & Archive and we've been supplying books to the people of #Orkney since 1683 which makes us one of the oldest libraries in Scotland. We also have a Mobile Library called #BookyMcBookface and we have some REALLY big balls. Nice to meet you. 👋

We had 63 participants at #Stonehaven #parkrun this morning, including 4 people doing their very first parkrun! It was lovely to see a friend doing his first run in 4 years. Great chat during and afterwards.
