When I was still teaching Nurse Practitioner students, the CDC resources were critical. They still are!!!!! While in my practice, I relied heavily on the Morbidity & Mortality reports, esp. during the COVID pandemic. We will rue the day we left WHO and shuttered the CDC. Make no mistake, we will.
