Netanyahu sees getting hostages back as a time wasting inconvenience. Was never his priority and it simply gets in the way of his main plan to occupy Gaza permanently. His pathetic rhetoric has simply enraged the hostage families and how long before they start saying Oct 7th was allowed to happen?

Can see Ukraine ending up like post war Germany, the frontier of the Western World, split down the middle and the Western half flourishing to the point where eventually the East wants to rejoin, Putin will be dead fairly soon and so Russia will change, same as it did during the period of Cold War.
