Saw this on MedPage. Thanks for getting out the word. This is so bad.

Some of us remember when America opposed apartheid in the 80s and supported Nelson Mandela in the 90s. This is just gross.

Winning comment today, and that's not easy. 👍

Overt white supremacy. That's where we are now.

Just found it on YouTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4dD...

Years ago I watched a doc on PBS about nonviolent protests around the world, starting with Gandhi. MLK followed his example with Black students sitting in lunchrooms designated for whites. Anti-apartheid movement in S. Africa was also covered. They were successful but it took real courage.

Wait until they find out what Rubella does to the only "people" they care about, fetuses.

They could also try Social Security, which immigrants have been paying into. Or, since they claim they're only going after violent criminals, the DOJ records are right there.

Humans are naturally afraid of people who look different, so trans people and immigrants make great scapegoats. When you're thinking with the fear-based part of your brain (amygdala), you're not thinking rationally & easy to manipulate.

As her attorney pointed out, she should have been permitted to surrender instead of the public arrest. Though I think that tactic will ultimately backfire as it generates a lot of sympathy for her.

Jesus, and People magazine is still referring to her as an "accuser." As if SHE went after THEM! 🤬

Interesting that this is happening while vaccination uptake has dropped. 🤔

Just like COVID. What a shocker!

And then there's the tariff back-and-forth idiocy. 3-D chess my ass.

Funding for a women's health study was also restored due to the backlash. It's ridiculous that we have to fight for this stuff, but that's where we're at.

Agree! And I really dislike when someone can't take the hint that you don't feel like talking. Crikey is right!

You could also ask where she got that information. Guaranteed she would either try to evade the question or cite RW media as her source. Sounds like she's brainwashed.

In court you can only testify to matters of general knowledge (eg sun rises in the east) OR, you have to have sufficient training and experience in order to state an opinion. Then you have to provide the basis of your opinion. Otherwise you're out the door. Good rule.

While Trump is trying to impose Christianity on everyone he's violating everything the Bible says about loving your neighbor.

How stupid. Aside from the humanitarian issue, there's the economic one. They were paying into SS, without ever being able to access it.

God, I hope so.

An incredible medical breakthrough that deserves to be remembered and celebrated.

As someone who's had an autoimmune disease for a long time, I can attest that it is not an easy way to live.

Yes we are.

Playing this out further, do we think Trump wants to go to war with China? He still blames it for SARS-CoV-2, which cost him the 2020 election. Plus he's super racist.

Oh, Gd, that is so Oprah-ish! It's also a bit Marxist, unintentionally: religion is the opiate of the masses.

I think a lot of us are deeply grieving the country that we love. A lot of us are still fighting though.

Also, I think I lost my sanity a few months ago 🤪

Actually, most WSJ op pieces have criticized tariffs, because duh. This is one sycophant with zero credibility.

And the gayer the society, the less warlike. Also a feeling. In any case, we are doomed.

Aw, thanks!

When summer comes, the lost tourism dollars will be unavoidable. GDP goes down, inflation goes up and we get stagflation, which is a recipe for a significant recession. Buckle up.

He looks uncomfortable because he is not equipped for this position nor ready to be held accountable. More kids will suffer and die, and he'll have to answer for it.

I remember that!

Please show proof that non-citizens are voting. Actual proof. If not, I'll continue to believe, with lots of proof, that Rs cannot win on the issues and therefore must lie and cheat.

Thanks for this. I have been watching many of the docuseries featuring Christian types doing horrible things. Scamanda, the one with the YouTube woman in Utah who thinks her kids are the devil, and the one with the YouTubers who "rehome" an adopted child. A necessary escape.

The goal is to reduce the major driver of the economy, consumer purchasing? Mmkay.

Anything by David Mitchell, the most well-known being Cloud Atlas. Anything by Emily St. John Mandel. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. The Silo Series by Hugh Howey. All of those have been made into movies or series, so he (and you) can watch afterward.
