We are happy to release LocScale2.0: a tool for context-aware, confidence-weighted cryoEM map optimisation. Taking two half maps as input, LcoScale-2.0 produces feature-enhanced maps along with a robust confidence score that guides objective map interpretation. cryotud.github.io/locscale/

Elated to share that this story about an unexpected and important finding is now published @pnas.org www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/... These findings have laid a strong foundation for us to now identify proteins critical for cell proliferation at 37°C in a human fungal pathogen.

Happy to share a new little paper from our team - by @origichals.bsky.social et al. It describes a strategy to make SUMO1 more crystallisable by fusing it with a helper domain. Check out the nice ITC showing it still binds to SIM motifs. We are now working on co-crystallisation with SIM peptides.
