Happiest in the garden trying to grow stuff 🌱, fiddling 🎻, spotting tiny treasures 🐝 (or BIG ones 🦅!), upcycling & repairing clothes ✂️🧵🪡or giving Keen Greens some extra spin at school🌍💚

Wouldn’t be the same if he didn’t come & ‘help’ 😹

😍 looking forward to this! 🎻

A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. Please repost if you agree 🌳

We're delighted to welcome @samsweeney.bsky.social to headline this month's concert, on Friday 21 February. Sam will be joined by Louis Campbell, and Lou Shepherd will get the evening underway. Over a hundred seats have already been snapped up, so don't hang about! www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z8j...

It’s time for climate populism, write @CarolineLucas.bsky.social and Rupert Read: As politics turns against net zero, we need to mobilise a genuine mass movement against ecological catastrophe.

Green and growth are not in conflict - on the contrary. The real opportunity for growth is the Green economy... Listen to the whole debate here. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

Is this you? Then it’s time to look at your life work balance. Teaching will take 24/7/52 if you let it and the job still wouldn’t be done. Make some boundaries, review regularly and keep them 90% of the time. You are replaceable at school but not at home 😊

💚we focussed on food for this year’s whole school extravaganza and welcomed back the fabulous @georgemcgavin.bsky.social A thought provoking day of facts, food & fun🍓🐝

Good Morning! 🌬️💨☀️

💕🏡📚🌱🥰

Big news - finally Britain is doing what it says it is going to do, rather than going backward on harmful pesticides. For background info, this pesticide was recommended only for emergency use, but non-organic growers kept requesting "emergency use" every single year.

Trying to make myself known to more of the people on this who once followed me on X. 😄 Reposts appreciated! #arealmofwonder #cianmccarthy

I love the potential of this moment

When winter is over, cut up and chuck plant material around your growing areas rather than take it all to a compost heap, it’s good for you and for wildlife (more recently people call this chop and drop - it’s just doing what nature does in the wild) www.wildway.info/p/cut-and-ch...

Proper cold - (for somewhere in the ‘weather shadow’ of the Isle of Wight 😁)
