I think Moneydiaper McStupid is counting on protests and plans to use them in many ways to his advantage with absolutely no limit to what he's capable of. That's the main reason I support you, Marc, on a teacher's salary in Cambodia.

I still think she cut down all those trees last time to give snipers a better shot.

So the problem is that doctors are paying too much? Come on. I know you help keep meds cheaper, but when I had surgery I paid the doctor the cost of his equipment even though he cleaned them (I hope) and used them again.
Nothing short of universal healthcare will fix this extortion racket.

You're going to love James and Dawn. I read both of them recently and they both went right onto my favorites list.

That's been true for a long time, but now I'd add that most MAGA officials are concious of the the fact that they are planning a boatload of injustices right now, and preventing the teaching of historic facts would both aid and distract from what they're in the process of doing.

Come to think of it, through all of your outstanding Expanse books, I always thought of Chrisjen Avasarala as a Democrat, and her base as the biggest reason she was so pissed off all the time.
And thank you for adding those books to my life.

Hell, left-leaning people are impossible to please. I'm a middle aged white guy living in Cambodia and I expect a party that protects trans PoC, migrant rights, and the well-being of the derps who hate them.
MAGA gets psyched over "they're eating the dogs!"
How do we compete with that?

Yeah, but dem voters are the ones that are smart enough to want to pay for things beyond our own immediate needs. I don't have kids but I want to pay for an educated society. MAGA only cares about MAGA, and that's easy to make promises to. Hell, they'll breathe dirty air if it hurts non-MAGA people.

The Devil's Backbone (2001) by Guillermo del Toro. It's an excellent horror movie with a powerful human and political perspective.

Memento is the correct answer. Just seeing the title always puts me in an instant state of introspection, like "how can I look at the current state of my life in a new way that can clarify (or consiously distort) what's important to me? That's pretty powerful for just a little movie about a guy.

Costco's founder Jim Sinegal started Costco, after being an executive in a similar company, with the idea that profits weren't everything. He believed if a company prioritized its workers and customers then profits would follow. He proved it true, even standing up to big investors demanding change.

Stop talking to us like only you rich guys have good ideas and tell us something useful - like how do we get campaign finance laws back without you buying BlueSky to shut us up about it first?

I love how all the comedy bits about people going nuts shopping at Costco is just how people actually shop at Costco. The good old days were back when you got a little show when one of us would call out all the numbers and another would 10-key them in real fast. We took pride in that before scanners
