The defence is that public intoxication is a way to remove just antisocial drunks, but we already have laws for disruptive antisocial behaviour. Having a euphemistic charge you can apply at discretion is just an obvious vector for abuse and discrimination.

Yeah, agreed. Especially since people who are neutral or positive on it are likely to show up for some other factor, whereas people who are negative about it are likely to not show up, which is what ended up deciding the result.

The latter is possible (and almost definitely accounts for some fraction of vote loss), the former I don't think is realistic in the slightest. Kamala refused to diverge from Biden on the left's most emotionally driving issue, and spent the last month of her campaign appealing to the centre.

The main argument for it is that the right votes didn't rise much more than 2020, but the left votes absolutely plummeted. The explanations are either "former left voters don't mind the right now" or "active left voters don't have a party to vote for", and one's more palatable than the other

Yeah absolutely. Every time I was doing reclears with the static, I'd repeat "we don't need to, but respect it" for sunrise + final towers in 2. Because if you're a little further behind than you thought you were and don't treat it like it's real, you've just thrown away 10 minutes for nothing.

marker strat is materia standard, it works so well that sunrise is basically a non-mechanic in oceania. you're not running into strat issues, you're running into skill issues.

I ended up picking up ys 8 after reading your massive games list, and i gotta say, i think games moving much past that level of budget was a crime. the low LOD lets them do so much for so little, it's enthralling.
