I never had buttered noodles growing up. But we did have beans. Sooo many pinto beans. Corn bread was made every single day. It was corn meal, flour, baking powder, salt and water. Just dry bread and a glass of milk. At the time I didn’t know we were struggling. We just at weirder than other ppl.
