"I'm here to save you!" "Oh my god. Sir Daniel we talked about--" "Unhand him you brute, or face my wrath!" "Daniel. Put my fencing instructor down."

Making thinly veiled threats against a sitting Congressperson are still threats.

There's a code among bartenders and similar places to refuse service to fascists. Doesn't matter if he is polite, or if he doesn't cause trouble. The problem with fascists is that he will come back to the bar with all his friends, and before you know it, you're running a fascist bar.

I didn't even know trans men were a thing until my mid twenties.

Ah yes let's investigate a theft of eggs and not the theft of our entire country.

Not to mention science fantasy is a legitimate genre. The single worst thing you can do as an author other than not finish the book is chase trends. Because by the time you publish, the trends will have shifted anyway.

Aren't there still horse carriages around the holidays and in NYC? Rent a horse and carriage kind of deal? Haunted hayrides? Make it happen.

Even if it's a fully fictional universe, it's a good idea to also keep things like climate, natural resources, trade patterns, and class when designing fashion. A tropical climate wouldn't be able to use madder root, but they might have access to avocado skins and pits, which create a pink dye!

That is very true! Eurocentrism is a bad habit

Obviously they wouldn't have access to New World plants like coffee, cocoa, and tomato, but they absolutely had access to woad, madder root, weld, and walnut hulls, as well as brasilwood from the east (for those regal crimson cloaks!)

I am well aware. Given that I am trans. Why do you think I removed it from my bio, even here? We are being made to suffer as a distraction to the extreme corruption occurring in our government, is my point.

Remember that they are doing this as a distraction. The sole intent of targeting us is to have a dog and pony show to obscure their real intentions. Fight back. Resist.
