Oddly, I was more interested in what Pete had to say today than what John did. One sounded like an old friend and the other a buffoon.

As a Seahawks fan, nothing would make me happier.

Can’t these insecure, angry old white men just go to therapy, already instead of making us all pay the price for their aging?

“Get our identity, ya know.” “The new coaching staff is pretty cool.”

Hard to take him seriously when he talks like a moron

Andre Ware or Jamarcus Russell. The only reason we’re even talking about this guy right now is because this QB draft class might be the worst we’ve ever seen.
comment in response to post
because he doesn’t think too much about ball or prepare himself for the game. That’s his greatest weakness, in my opinion. He simply doesn’t care about football or quarterbacking. Cam will be one of the biggest draft busts in history. It’s going to be a bust on the same level as Akili Smith (2/3)

Your eval is spot on. One thing I’ll add is that even though it’s more difficult to say with certainty what’s going through his head than it is to say his footwork is garbage, fumbles too much and throw too many INTs, it’s easy to say with certainty that all those mistakes happen frequently (1/2)

Let’s hope at least a few are Cougs fans

We’re trading him because he’s worth a 1st-round pick.

Thank you saying it. The word is overused but anyone who says otherwise is straight gaslighting. Before Apple, I used to watch every game my team played in. Since Apple, I’ve watched maybe a half dozen and almost completely lost interest.

John Schneider needs to resign. His close relationship with Jody Allen has helped him avoid being fired but it’s past time. It’s obvious he got Pete fired and now he’s looking for more scapegoats and it looks like it’s gonna be the o-line coaches. I wouldn’t sign up to coach for this team.
comment in response to post
My first thought, exactly. John Schneider is now publicly blaming the coaches for the gigantic holes in the roster. 1 year after getting Pete fired, he’s officially a career killer for a coach to cover his own incompetence.

Not exaggerating when I say there isn’t an NFL starter on this list.

Are they already negotiating against themselves?

Would somebody please double check the transcript to see if he actually said Assistant Head Coach?

LeBron out here exposing “insiders” for the tarot-card reading, psychic frauds that they are and I love it.

How does Bill get that top-heavy look? Spanx?
comment in response to post
In other words, he’s got no plan and no idea who he wants to draft.
comment in response to post
Miami’s OL has a couple of underrated dudes nobody is talking about.
comment in response to post
That’ll teach us! Make him fire his GM and he just won’t hire another to show how big and powerful he is by tanking the draft.
comment in response to post
You’ll have to excuse him, being able to get away with saying and doing inappropriate, offensive and hurtful things in a professional setting is a status symbol for people of his age. When wearing a nice watch or driving a nice car no longer does it for you, turn to debasing yourself and others.

Idk, Cam might be bad. Drafting a FUM and INT machine that can’t read a defense seems like a bad idea. He’s got all the measurables and athleticism but has no idea what he’s doing back there. How many playoff games he been to? How many bowl games he been to?
comment in response to post
Why does his facial hair look like a Confederate General’s? He goin’ for that Andrew Luck look?
comment in response to post
This’ll definitely change next season for the Raiders. Pete plus the most penalized team in league history will be epic for penalty heads

Oops…meant to type division rival not conference rival
comment in response to post
Only thing I can figure out they want the Kubiak/Shanahan offense identity. Battle of the nepo babies twice a year, with your biggest conference rival, both calling the same plays that their dad taught them 20 years ago.
comment in response to post
I might be overthinking it but JS and MM want an “offensive identity” and the one they want is the Kubiak/Shanahan (fathers and sons) offense. It didn’t hurt that Shanahan and Lynch essentially have Klay as OC and JS and MM think Klint can be their answer and run the same offense.
comment in response to post
So we get Nepo Baby War: Klint vs. Klay twice a year where everyone is running the same plays?
comment in response to post
Couldn’t figure this out until I saw that Klint’s brother, Klay is an Offense Assistant with the 9ers and Kyle and John want to promote him to OC but an NFL rule blocked it. Basically just Tweedledee and Tweedledum saying they want to run the Gary Kubiak/Kyle Shanahan offense
comment in response to post
It appears as if this is exactly what Tweedledee and Tweedledum were thinking
comment in response to post
Don’t know if it’s true for everyone but it’s definitely true for me. Burnout is probably the best way to describe it. I’ve only been watching 10-15 minutes of each game since mid-December. Ratings are declining so the greedy NFL brain trust wants to add another week of regular season games.
comment in response to post
Boomer retiring? Wtf? He’s supposed to pretend he wants to die on the job.
comment in response to post
Lazy or gaslighting? Lazy gaslighting?
comment in response to post
Tweedledee and Tweedledum are taking a page out of Jerry’s book and just gonna let the rest of the league make the decision for them by waiting to hire until after all the good candidates are gone.
comment in response to post
True, but unfortunately the opinion that matters most here is what Brady (and his cut-out GM) thinks of him.
comment in response to post
Pete loves the idea but Brady is Spytek and Spytek is Brady and Brady hates everything about Geno except for his arm strength.
comment in response to post
I’ll really be surprised if Pete’s team signs the guy that reportedly tried to get him fired for the better part 2 years.
comment in response to post
Speaking of punters that went on to do great things. Tom Tupa scored the first 2-pt conversion in NFL history thanks to his head ball coach, Bill Belichick.
comment in response to post
A whole lotta boomers out there just want the dad-they-never-had to be the head ball coach or heck, even a real, live US President.

No, seriously, he’s cooked. Apparently got more standing ovations from Rs than Ds during whatever speech he just gave to both houses.

Genuinely surprised to see D voters blaming D politicians. Always thought it was just generally acknowledged that D’s don’t mind if the next 4 years are unpleasant for everyone including those with privilege that didn’t vote but should have.

Looks like the actors you see cast as QBs in movies about high school football AND is an actual QB?
