Just to be clear, I do realise that many wonderful academics are doing research on this, but it feels like the political will and healthcare structures are still wildly inadequate to actually deliver this to achieve the goal of eradicating HIV transmission by 2030.

Completely agree. We need to stop normalising violence against children. I think there's probably a line which needs drawing for the sake of public interest, though. A quick slap on a wrist to stop a child grabbing something is not useful... But something more pre-meditated and harsher would be.

Red routes would transform some roads, it's such a piss take through areas like Gorton, Levenshulme or Longsight where cars and vans park up causing serious congestion that buses then need to cut around.

There's slightly easier arguments in my discipline (nursing) where we have a long term prohibition on recordings (like podcasts) based on the fact staff or students may raise confidential matters in seminars. Harder to make that argument in other disciplines.

Computers have wires... Humans have scissors... Where there is a problem there's always a solution 👍

I'd love to see the figures for women broken down in relation to their sexuality, too... Specifically women who have children who are in relationships with women vs men, I don't think the results would surprise anyone but straight men.

Ah the heady days of early 2000s New Labour where is was ALWAYS a good idea to have a sign for something, even if that something said absolutely nothing of any use to whatsoever.

My favourite is the sign in Marple which says: "Young People, Think" It's on the main road from Marple to Offerton.

I think it can be useful to bash out your thoughts/notes as you peer review, and then get it to organise your thoughts. It takes out the editing process so saves a little time, but directly reviewing the paper. No.

I had exactly the same thought
