I played knocky nine doors on David Bowie’s front door in Beckenham and he screamed at me to ‘fcuk off…!’

Sounds like a plan - let’s just hope it’s theirs too.

This is thoroughly depressing and soul destroying. How can The Guardian sincerely challenge the dark arts of capitalism when they borrow from their playbook.

Sadly it just ain’t going to happen. The government is too scared of the right wing media and the Tech Bro Billionaires who will bear all their financial clout to once again manipulate the masses.

I get why you are striking against the sale of The Observer. But what I don’t get is the Scott Trust’s rationale for doing it. It can’t be just finances given they are sitting in £1.3bn. What am I missing here? Can you explain?

What’s the Guardian’s rationale for selling? Is it just financial? Or is there something else lurking beneath the surface? Seems odd given the Scott Trust’s mission for independent journalism and a staggering £1.3bn in funds…!

I get why the Guardian shouldn’t sell the Observer but nowhere can I read why the Guardian wants to sell other than it’s not profitable - which may be the only reason. Yet with £1.3bn stashed away at the Scott Trust is it the only reason? Am I missing something here - can anyone enlighten me?

I’m very much in the choice camp. Having witnessed my son die slowly over the course of six months in the most agonising manner - I know that even with the best palliative care options - some people die agonising deaths. Everyone should have the choice to die with dignity at the end of their lives.

Glad you’re here Mooch. The cesspit of vitriol formerly known as Twitter meant I couldn’t hang out there any longer. I felt sick each time I read the comments so voted with my feet. Keep up the good fight.
