Usually the justification boils down to an attempt to get city employees to spend money at local businesses, but that never takes into account how cash poor a lot of public servants are to begin with. WFH also gives recruiters an edge. This is a pretty poor decision by Portland City council, tbh.

Princess Mononoke changed my life in 1997. Seeing it in IMAX tonight felt like seeing it again for the first time. Truly one of the greatest animated films of all time. Miyazaki is peerless.

My wife is pretty lukewarm on #Severance and did not love the way the season finale landed. She mostly watches it to indulge me. I think it’s brilliant and loved where the finale took the show. How do I gently tell her she’s wrong.
