You two are talking about two distinct group of people. You, low info voters (people by definition likely low engagement with the political process) and she is talking those directly involved with the Rep/Cons./MAGA movement/governance, so the exact opposite (at least that is the way I read it).

So, yeah, that is very much on the table now.

I hate they aren't saving it, but if not it kills me they are not "recycling" it. Steel is literally one of the most carbon dirty things to make (about 10% of all carbon released is from steel making) and we are sinking it instead of making it into cars, bridges and refrigerators.

Well, that is because the UK ordered them to supply the UK government with a secret back door past the security (which can potentially be discovered and exploited by others) so they now are declining to offer that (intentionally flawed) product. Personally, I think they are 100% correct.

I think the USA has to end, at least blue states. West coast, north east, and some of the Great Lakes states need to walk, keep their taxes from now on and not cut the red states in which show they will choose a government that will refused to honor it's commitments to them, etc.
