The Thin Red Line is the only film I’ve ever walked out of the cinema. We’re keen on war films generally, but forty minutes in, grim weather outdoors seemed like the better option.

Cloud Atlas sounded like everything I’d love in a book…but I couldn’t get on with it at all. Enjoyed Wolf Hall, but it was diminishing returns with the sequel!
