Ooo, how I agree really depends on what's the focus. If we're strictly talking about the devs.. most are innocent, but more often its gacha that preys more on the vulnerable.
I agree that AI as a whole is destroying the world more, but that has more to do with its environmental impacts.

The point I was making is that Ranma always views himself internally as a guy, even when in a female body. That's why I question whether he's truly genderfluid. Also possible I'm thinking too rigid on what genderfluid means.

🤣 absolutely love the 2nd half of your description. Disagree on the genderfluid part (unless you only meant physically) because most of Ranma's drama is that he views himself fully as a man. He may put on a girly act when it's advantageous, but he still thinks of his ability as a curse.

Paul can see thousands of years into the future (can look however far he believes is necessary) and see how to prevent humanity's extinction. I don't know how someone wouldn't just go cuckoo taking in all that without Mentat training.

Totally different situation for Paul Atreides. Paul can see all the past, all possible realities, all of the time.. and can pick and choose from moment to moment when to go another way if he wishes and uses his ability to keep humanity along "the Golden Path"

For Eren, he also can't change things, but it's a reflection of his deepest values like being able to exist freely, without persecution. We can try and twist that and assume Eren would maximize freedom for the entire world, but what if he couldn't help but value his friends or homeland more?

With Anakin Skywalker, it is what it is.. not a reflection on his morals but how the universe's story so happens to play out. He can try to change things, but then, that may likely be what causes the event to happen in the first place.

It's like how some artists really enjoy the sketching phase and are capable of inking, coloring, shading, etc. their pieces, but have sort of an assembly line of assistants for the finalizing steps. It lets them maximize what sparks most joy for them.

Not all artists need such a thing, but for those that do, I wouldn't feel any lesser about them going that route. In fact, it takes reaching a certain level of success for that to even be feasible.

I've messed about with Mint already on this old laptop, and I was surprised how much better Linux has gotten this past decade. SteamDeck sure did wonders for the Linux gaming experience. And yes, I bought these parts with Linux compatibility in mind 😉

omg, I love Evolution series so much! X-Men '97 still #1 for me, but I had to watch Evo the moment I saw Rogue morphed from Sabertooth powers. Such a great Wanda 😽 and had some excellent Cyclops & Nightcrawler moments too!
