It seems like it's full of Philly fans. Might not be the best people but nothing Kendrick needs to worry about

I thought the veep is more like Tomax. Or Xamot. The one without the scar, but a total sycophant either way

The richest man in the world went insane because he can buy anything except the ability to tell a joke. That's how valuable jokes are.

Cheers to that! I hope they can help uphold the American dream / experiment. Which, to your point, should be diverse and inclusive. I just feel like the logic is lost on those in full corruption mode. They use terms like capitalism in empty or misleading ways

In a "pure capitalism" scenario I agree. But the US has been embroiled in a warped version of capitalism for a while now, which does not care about providing quality products or services. Monopolization has rigged supply & demand... We're more valuable as free labor than consumers at this point

Americans have a truly entitled sense that things can't break down here. That there is some magical mechanism that keeps things from going south. But there is no magic. It's just us and what we allow each other to get away with.
And they want to get away with everything.

For a lot of folks “Nazi” is just a descriptor for “really evil”, they don’t know a lot of nice people buy into the ideology—or can be persuaded to—without a ton of effort

It's a good question. My guess is that it's not really intended for direct social interaction like FB / Twitter etc. It's organized around topics and is really more like OG forums. I think this limits the "influencer" factor and therefore what makes other hellsites popular

The fact that people are claiming "It's false. Biden would never send $8B more to Netanyahu," shows that people recognize how egregious this act is.
Biden is in fact selling $8B more in arms to Netanyahu. Justice demands we reject this horrific decision.

I've always described what we do as bridging the gap between creative exploration and functional feasibility, while always taking a human-first approach. I'm doing my job when I get an "aha" moment from either a designer learning about code or a dev learning the history of an established pattern

I've moved directly into an accessibility role, but I still support our DS and still consider myself a UX Dev. I've seen others mention the relationship between this role and a11y, and I couldn't agree more.

... Which as you can imagine, has a direct relationship to design systems. Early on our group were some of the first to build component libraries and now we have many that either work directly with our DS or make meaningful contributions to it.

I've worked in a role titled UX Developer for almost 6 years. I'm guessing it's similar. In our org, the UX dev is basically a high performing FE dev that knows / cares a lot about the design space. We use empathy to problem solve, primarily translating design intent into reusable UI....

I think BK was once part of the big 3 but folks have moved on... That makes them an LL in this analogy. McDs is probably Drake because it's super popular worldwide but not really food. DeLa is more Panera Bread, right? Chick Fila is JCole, he doesn't beef especially on Sunday. Kendrick is Starbucks
